Mello drove into the lot of the restaurant and parked. His security vehicle also stopped behind him.

He and Kelan got out with smiles before proceeding into the building. Kelan surveyed the place. It wasn't flashy or expensive, but it was neat and welcoming. It made Kelan wonder why Mello would want to eat in such a common place, but he kept his thoughts to himself.

Inside, they were greeted by a friendly hostess who showed them to a cozy booth near the window. Mello seemed completely at ease, his good mood evident.

"Why here?" Kelan finally asked as they sat down.

Mello chuckled. "Sometimes, the simplest places offer the best food and the most relaxed atmosphere. Plus, it's good to take a break from all the luxury now and then."

Kelan nodded, appreciating Mello's perspective. As they looked over the menu, Mello continued, "Besides, it's these little places where you find the most genuine experiences. I like to stay grounded."

Kelan smiled. "I can see that. I'm looking forward to it."
