AN INVITATION

Alarick went back towards the house and once he stepped inside, he could hear Charlotte's voice ringing through the lobby. She was still shouting and it didn't seem like she was going to stop anytime soon.

He shook his head and went up the stairs to her room. The guards were still finding it hard to put Charlotte into her room since her hands gripped the door frame as she started to scream profanities at the men. She had a very dirty mouth, and some words she said would make even sailors that were infamous for cursing, blush hard.

"You cannot do this to me you assholes! I am not a criminal! You have to let me go! Alarick! Tell your goons to release me this instant! I will sue you all for harassment the minute I’m out of here, you will all regret treating me like this, I promise you."

On hearing his name, Alarick walked closer and stepped in front of Charlotte and she calmed down a little but her hands never left the door frame.
