AT HER FATHER'S TOMBSTONE

Scarlett leaned back in her seat when the waiter approached them and gave Alarick a bottle of water and a glass just in case he needed it. Some people preferred to drink straight from the bottle and others preferred to drink from a glass.

"Have you made your choice from our menu now, sir? Our chefs are honoured that you graced us with your presence and would like an opportunity to show off their impressive culinary skills.” The waiter said after dropping the water instead of leaving.

Alarick glanced at Scarlett.

"You invited me here, so go ahead and order for us." Alarick said to her and Scarlett smiled.

"All right. We'll have your ribeye steak glazed with bourbon, and any side dish you think is best. Impress me and you’ll get a really good tip after our dinner.” She said to the waiter.

The waiter nodded and walked away to get their order as Alarick took a sip of water.
