Days went by and still the police were not able to apprehend the man that Cillian had pointed out to them. They had followed all the leads they had but had still come up empty. So now they had nothing to go on except a picture of a man who could not be found.Alarick was at his office seething after he got a call from the station. He threw his phone onto his desk. He was getting fed up with not having the man who almost killed his father behind bars. He came in to work early to get his mind off the fact that they hadn’t caught the man yet but this call just made everything worse. Why was the man so hard to find? Was he really a ghost or were the police just that incompetent? Just then his phone buzzed. Alarick got to the station some minutes after they brought Alejandro in. They took the culprit to the interrogation room and he went in to watch. Alarick and the officer in charge of his case, Maurice sat down opposite Alejandro who was chained to the table. “Where is your accomplice?” Alejandro was cautious. He knew that the man sitting across from him had threatened his family but he was more wary of the person he was trying to protect. The person who stood him up. “Which accomplice. After Alarick had told his father all that was going on he went straight home to rest. It was late and he didn’t want to go back to the office. Work and this whole case were getting to him. He couldn’t let the company go into ruin because he was focused on getting his uncle and he couldn’t let Micah go free because he was working all the time. He promised himself one calm night. He needed to destress then go right back to them.Alarick instructed the staff to make him dinner immediately he got home before he went into his room and undressed. After the early interrogation of Alejandro, Alarick had gone to the company. He didn't go straight to the warehouse due to what Alejandro had said about the place. Alarick, Maurice and some other officers converged at the warehouse he just bought. Maurice watched Alarick as he stepped down from the cab car with some papers in his hands. He couldn't come with his expensive one and a bunch of gaurds to East Harlem. That would cause a lot of trouble since they were planning on keeping a low profile. They all had to dress like civilians but Alarick insisted on wearing his suit."Why are we here?" Maurice questioned.Alarick handed the papers to Maurice who took a look at them. Micah was at an art function downtown since he was invited to be the special guest. He stepped in smiling while people complimented his clothes and style. He basked in the fact that this would be his new normal soon. When Cillian and Alarick were out of his way, when he got the company, everything would fall into place. It was night by the time Alarick headed over to the hospital. Once he got there he went straight to his father's room. Cillian stood in the corner of the room looking at the moon outside the window. He could stand now without needing any help or feeling much pain. The cold night air blew his hair and he wrapped the blanket around himself tightly. Alarick walked over to him and reached to close the windows. Cillian swatted his hands away. Alarick laughed."If you're cold I could close the window. Once Alarick was satisfied with the way the trap was going to work, he headed back to the office. He had an appointment with one of the most wealthy men in the city , Derek Mason. Not as wealthy and powerful as he was but close enough. Alarick stepped into the lobby. He saw Vivian tapping her feet on the tiled floor and frowning while she looked at the MacBook in her hands.
