Alarick stood up from the desk and started to pace near the bed. His mind was swirling with dread and guilt. He had heard Dylan say they had fun with Grace but he refused to believe that Dylan was talking about rape. Now his father just confirmed that Dylan had allowed his men to rape Grace, Dylan may have even participated. That monster defiled Grace.

If only he had been more careful. If he had made sure that they were more safe and secure before attempting to catch Dylan then maybe this wouldn’t have happened. He just hadn’t thought that Dylan would be able to extend himself to a different country. He formed a fist and was about to punch the wall when Cillian spoke up.

“She tried to tell you all that we noticed and it got her killed. It should have been me who died. She had her whole life ahead of her and they just took it away like it was nothing.”
