TALKING TO HIS FATHER

Alarick ignored Charlotte’s cries and went over to his father’s room. As he walked, he thought about Charlotte’s behavior. He couldn’t fathom how she could kill her own father and Grace, then fake tears for the people she had killed. It was unbelievable. For her to act as if she was innocent through it all. To him, it showed just how twisted and evil she was. How did he see such a sweet and caring woman before?

Alarick pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind as he arrived in front of his father’s bedroom door. He raised his hands to knock on the door but paused for a bit. He wasn’t sure how Cillian would be or react to him asking questions or even being there. He didn’t want to hurt his father anymore but he had questions that needed to be answered and they were running out of time. Dylan could strike again at any moment and he wanted to be ready.
