As Alarick sat in his office at the top floor of the high-rise building he now owned, he got a call from Brianna. He frowned when he saw her name pop up. As the days went by, Brianna kept to herself. She still saw Alarick around the mansion but she never tried to seduce him again after she had been humiliated by him the last time. But she still saw him around the mansion and they still had dinner together. Alarick’s father was never unpleasant to her but he never acknowledged her presence either. It was as if she didn’t even exist.
