"Is that you, street rat? Look how low you've fallen. It's only been two days and you look like shit." Brianna said with a sneer as she held her lover, Lucian Pasteli . Lucian smiled and Alarick could feel the anger bubbling inside him once he remembered what this man did to him, but he decided to be calm.

"What do you want?" Alarick asked calmly.

There was no need to cause a scene when they were both beneath him now. Lucian rolled his eyes and tapped his fingers on the car door as he spoke.

"You know you should have really reconsidered this whole divorce thing. We both know it won't do you any good. When you're done pouting you'll go back and grovel at Brianna's feet like the beggar you are."

"Bold of you to think that I would beg this woman to take me back after everything she did to me. You can keep her since apparently that's what you’re into. Enjoy having my leftovers."
