But the man got lost in the crowd. There were more people here than Alarick had expected but there was nothing he or his men could do but to wait and try and protect them if anything went wrong. They couldn’t chase them away and if they began evacuating, Dylan would be alerted that there were officers in the building disguised as civilians.

Just as Alarick had given up on finding the man, there was an announcement over the public address system. Everyone, including Alarick, looked towards a small podium that had been erected in the middle of the complex where the voice was coming from. It was Dylan. He stood on top the podium and grinned at the crowd, his mask partially covering his eyes that held malice. A red velvet curtain obscuring the rest of the stage behind him.

“I hope you are all enjoying looking around the stores, and the other attractions like games that we prepared specially for this reopening.”
