VISITORS LEAVE

Laughter still continued as Farhad told them stories of his travels abroad and some of the things that he got to experience while being in far away countries.

"That fishing trip was something else. I couldn't catch even one fish though so I just paid someone else to catch it for me. After that I had a wonderful trout for dinner. Ah, the Maldives was really something."

Alarick laughed and relaxed on his seat.

"The great Farhad Dubois couldn't get even one fish? I don't believe it. What about all those times you caught a bunch and flaunted them in all our faces?"

Alarick could see Farhad flush a bit.

"Last time was different. I swear it was because I didn't take my lucky fishing rod with me. I left my home unprepared."

Alarick chuckled.

"Okay, okay. I'll take your word for it."

Scarlett sat up and asked a question.

"So, Alarick, what's happening in your personal life? I know you've been avoiding this question ever since we came here but really I'm just dying to know."
