The night air was crisp and cool as Saint walked along the quiet streets, his hands tucked into the pockets of his coat. The city lights flickered in the distance, but he wasn’t paying attention to them. His mind was elsewhere, replaying everything that had happened in the past few days.

Victoria. Paige. The ambush.

His jaw clenched as he exhaled sharply, shaking his head. The thoughts of him destroying the kin clan and what his uncle had warned him concerning it kept flowing back into his head.

Before he could entertain the thought any further, his senses suddenly sharpened.

Something was off.

He halted mid-step, his ears picking up the slightest shuffle of movement behind him.

Too late.

A thick cloth was shoved over his face.

The strong scent of chemicals invaded his nostrils as he struggled against the men holding him down. He lashed out, elbowing one in the ribs, but there were too many of them. Their grips were ironclad, dragging him backward into a van before he c

By the time Saint awoke from his deep slumber, the whole room was lit up by sunlight which meant, it was already the next morning. Saint could properly see the room that he was in. It had seemed as though he had been kept in a basement the night he had been brought here, but seeing it clearly for the first time, he realised that he was being kept in a proper room that either belonged to sir Rawlings or someone else. The room was in a hot mess but surprisingly, there was laundry neatly folded and kept on the bed. Saint struggled to get up to his feet but realised that he could not move his limbs. Much to his amazement, neither his legs nor hands were bound, yet he could not even raise a finger—only turning his head from side to side in agony. Laying helplessly on the floor sent frustration gushing through Saint. He clenched his jaw and struggled still to get up from the floor but all his efforts were futile. He could not grasp the reason he felt so weak and why his bones ached al

Victoria sat in the grand bedroom of the Zlate family villa, her back resting against the plush pillows of the oversized bed. The room smelled of lavender and fresh linen, and a warm breeze filtered in through the slightly open window. The soft silk nightgown she now wore was far more comfortable than the torn dress she had been in hours ago. She was home and Safe as well. But despite the comforting atmosphere, her body felt heavy with exhaustion. Her wrists ached from where they had been tied, and faint bruises were forming on her arms. Nothing too serious—just minor injuries. Yet, judging by the way her family hovered over her, one would think she had barely escaped with her life. Lady Erica, dabbed a cool cloth over her forehead, her face lined with deep worry. "Oh, poor child. Those horrible men… What did they do to you?" "I’m fine," Victoria sighed. "Fine?" her father, Lord Zlate, scoffed. He stood by the bed, arms crossed, his sharp gaze filled with anger. "You call thi

Victoria sat at the table for dinner with her entire body almost covered in bandages. She hated the damn hypocrisy her family displayed toward her. They would readily give her hand out in marriage to a man they were not sure of, yet cloth her in bandges of every kind as a form of affection toward her. "Victoria, you have not touched your food yet. Is there any problem?" Lady Erica asked her. Victoria had not noticed that she had been toying with her food while she was deep in thought and all eyes were glued to her. "Oh, uhm. No, I mean everything is absolutely fine." Victoria replied awkwardly, causing everyone to pause their eating and stare at her more intently. Like she was not already used to getting endless stares from them. "Well now can I eat my food in peace?" Victoria said irritatingly. "It course you can dear!" Her mother said out loud with a fu mouth. Victoria went back to her food without a word and soon the others also concentrated on their food. "Oh Victoria!"T

The day had come when Victoria told the family that Saint would be visiting. From the inception of that day, everyone and everything had been done awkwardly for no just cause. They had all thought that Saint would come in earlier than he had said, but as the day was drawing to a close and there was not a single sign of him, there were starting to doubt if he was going to show up at all. It got to the point where lady Erica had to go into Victoria's room just to ask if Saint was still going to show up that evening. Victoria was surprised that lady Erica of all persons would come to ask. "I just wanted to know if I would go ahead and ask the maids to prepare dinner or not!" Lady Erica defended. "So we won't have dinner because he's going to show up?" Victoria asked sarcastically but she did not give lady Erica any room to respond, "and I hope you know that it's not in your place to decide whether this family gets dinner or not." She added. "You do not speak to me that way!" Lady E

The Zlate villa had never been as tense as it was that evening. A storm brewed within its walls, though outside, the skies remained clear. The double doors to the villa opened, and Jack Sparrow stepped inside. Victoria had not gone a day to visit him at the hospital but she was very sure that he was in a critical condition and was surprised that he had even survived, talk more of making his way down to the villa all by himself. He looked well-rested, healthier than the last time she had seen him, but something was different. His usual confidence was slightly shaken, his steps a little slower. Perhaps he sensed that something had changed. Jack’s sharp eyes scanned the room, and when they landed on Victoria, he forced a charming smile. "Victoria, darling," he said, his voice smooth as ever. "I’ve missed you." Victoria rose from her seat without hesitation. She didn’t miss a beat. "You are not welcome here, Jack Sparrow!" Victoria spat at him, the pitch of her voice had attracte

The wind howled through the Dragon Clan’s sacred grounds, rustling the trees and sending loose dirt swirling in the air. Saint turned, his expression unreadable as he watched a lone figure approach. Steward. The man who had once been robbed of everything, humiliated and cast aside, now stood before him as a restored warrior, dressed in the finest robes befitting his reclaimed status. Steward knelt before Saint, bowing his head in deep gratitude before rising to meet

At the far end of the room, Vic stood with an amused smirk, her arms crossed. Her presence exuded power—dark and overwhelming. She tilted her head slightly as she observed Saint, her eyes gleaming with malice.“You finally came,” she said smoothly, stepping forward. “I was beginning to think you had abandoned them.”Saint ignored her taunt, his gaze locked onto Victoria. Her chest rose and fell faintly—she was alive, but barely. His fists clenched at his sides.“Let them go, Vic.” His voice was calm but laced with deadly intent. “This ends now.”Vic chuckled. “Oh, Saint. You always think you can swoop in like a hero and fix everything. But you don’t understand… I’ve already won.”"Drop the dagger, Vic...." Saint ordered again, ignoring what she had said, "don't make this any harder than it is." He added. "But it already is. Someone should offer him a chair already, the show is just about to start." She said and erupted into another round of laughter. Saint was about to launch himself

Saint cut through the thick branches with the sword Sayid had handed over to him. He was relieved that he was able to convince him to head back to the clan with the others. He had seen the disappointment in his face when he told him that he couldn't afford to take him any farther than they had already come, and it was far too dangerous for Sayid to continue the journey with him. It was getting darker by every passing minute and Saint knew that he had to get on with his journey quickly. For some reason unknown to the others, Saint could sense that Vic was close by and these creatures that he had just battled with had been a decoy to distract them from the actual mission they had embarked on. He continued cutting down more branches as he walked. The sensation around him grew, signalling to him that he was already closer to Vic than he thought. He tightened his grip on the hilt of the sword and intensified the effort he used in cutting down more of the trees, clearing his path. The c

"I'm not moving an inch from here until I see Saint!" Gerald said stubbornly, adjusting his legs more comfortable on the ground but making sure that his legs didn't touch the creature. His eyes were still fixated on the creature. He had still not given up in trying to make out what it was and where they had come from. "Well then, suit yourself." Sayid said and started walking away. The stench that came from him was foul and immediately made the air unbearable to breathe. "Where are you going to, Sayid? We can't just leave Saint here all by himself!" Gerald said, his voice trembling with fear. "He's fine, you chicken heart, he just wants to set some things out for himself." Sayid said. He suddenly stopped in his tracks and turned to face both men. He had noticed that something wasn't right. "Where are all the soldiers?!" He asked. "Most of them are dead, I think the rest ran away!" Max wiped the perspiration off his forehead with his sleeve and dusted his hands. He was satisfied with how deep the hole was even though a pretty large part of it had not been his effort. "Come on, we need to bury him quickly before someone comes." Max said aloud. They had carried Max's lifeless body to an area where nobody would find it, not even Vic herself, except by some means of magic, but even if she would have, they would have all been long gone. "Certainly." The second guard replied and started breaking the rocks nearby that they were going to use in burying Drake. The plan was to level the spot they would bury Drake as much as possible and fill the place up with rocks. If anyone has plans of digging the place up, they would get a second thought—who buried people with rocks in than age. "It's all done." The second hairs let out, panting heavily. "No one should step down from the car!" Saint ordered when the car had been brought to a halt. "Oh you don't need to tell me that twice. I already know what's going on....if you had just listened to me earlier..." Gerald grumbled and folded his hands. Despite the eerie environment that they were in, he felt no single iota of fear and instead disappointment toward Saint for not believing him earlier on. "I'm going to go check it out." Saint said and without giving them any chance to process their thoughts, he was already out of the car. Gerald's lips parted slightly in bewilderment. He wanted to say something but then hesitated and kept silent. "Aren't you coming, Gerald, I'm going with him." Sayid said, cutting through Gerald's line of thoughts.
