Chapter 37

Sullivan decided that the present was going to be his plan b.Now he just needed to talk to her because he knew his wife and if he showed up with lots of gifts she would think he was trying to corral her into forgiving him.

After taking a deep breath, he was about to knock on the door when the door flung open.

Sullivan froze for a moment because he wasn't expecting to see her so quickly.

"Is everything okay," Erica asked with concern when she noticed how pale Sullivan's face was the moment he saw her.

"I...I came to see you." Sullivan licked his lips trying to hide the nervousness he felt.

"Do you want to come in then?" Erica asked.

Sullivan frowned when he picked up the formal tone she used when she spoke to him.

At least before the attempted divorce, they were already starting to get along but staring at her it is like they were back to how they started or maybe worse.

"I'd love to." Sullivan forced a smile.
