"I promised the people that I was going to see them," Erica said.

Sullivan understood when she said the people she meant those former prisoners from the Lowell Tower.

After Jason fled, he was able to seize control of the Lowell tower which was the Five Great Families stronghold and thanks to Erica he was able to find it.

Sullivan freed the prisoners and the ones that had family to go back to were able to leave but the majority had nowhere to go so they stayed at the tower until Sullivan worked at a solution.

"Do you have to go," Sullivan whined.

"Of course, I don't break my promises and I need to send them provisions too," Erica explained.

"Why does it have to be you, you can always send the maids and the soldiers."

Erica let out a sigh, wondering when her husband had become so clingy. It was a puzzling change for her to comprehend.

"These people are scared and we need them to trust us, if you want to take down the five great families they will serve a crucial role in doing that."
