"Are we going somewhere?" Erica asked, staring at her husband with suspicion.

"You're not trying to sell me off are you?" She added.

What on earth was wrong with this woman, he said to himself.

"Why would such a thought even come across your mind? I can be a monster to other people but never with you." He said.

"Alright fine " Erica rolled her eyes.

Erica raised an eyebrow, her eyes still sparkling with suspicion.

"Then what's going on? You're being so secretive and mysterious," she said, her voice playful.

Sullivan chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

"You're just going to have to trust me, my love," he said in a husky voice.

"But I promise you, it's going to be worth it."

Her mind began to race with many possibilities.

What was he up to?

If she had magical powers she wouldn't hesitate to scan his brain and get the answers she was looking for.

She felt like driving her fist into his stomach and giving him a hard punch till he had no secrets left to keep.
