"Welcome home, Mr Cobb!"

Sarah O'dell and Emma Robbie's greeting must have taken Tom by surprise. He just smiled as he placed a bag of snacks on the table in front of the sofa. He also greeted some customers who make purchases.

Nick just shook his head softly at the behaviour of his two colleagues. Not without reason. The two single women had won over Tom's manly demeanour. "Please understand, my two co-workers, sir. They are just going through puberty before disappointment sets in."

Suddenly, Nick's words made the three visitors who were sitting with each of the JF Properties employees laugh to themselves. Meanwhile, Tom stood by the door, trying to be a greeter for the visitors who might come to visit.

As the three visitors walked out after their purchase, Tom bowed before them to thank them for their trust. "Hope JF Properties bring you success."

After that, Sarah quickly moved on, approaching Tom with her nose, trying to sniff out the unfamiliar scents.

Being treated as such, Tom

"Didn't I mishear?" asked Tom to make sure. He stood up in a huff as Henry approached him from behind."I heard it directly from Camellia, Aland. I think since her head was hit, her evil behaviour is starting to diminish. She told me everything. But she's still not sure when the wedding will take place."Shannon's explanation certainly made Tom understand the confidence of Arthur who suddenly came to ask him to prepare a car as a gift. "I think I should send him a wonderful present.""Did you see, right? Arthur always has a hidden way to get what he wants. His strategies are too cunning, Aland. He will utilise any means for his own benefit. Not for the good of JF Printing."Henry, who was waiting behind Tom's back, was about to turn around when Tom glanced back. "Lemme call you back later, Ms Reynolds. I need to get something done."Tom quickly put down the phone when he saw Henry handing him the company tab."There's an additional request, Mr Cobb. More than eight. They're asking for

"Something is wrong, Ms Reynolds."Tom rose quickly from his chair. It was almost morning when Tom remembered to call Shannon after all night long of watching the furniture production without missing the procedures. He rubbed his nose furiously as he realised something was off. Fighting off his overwhelming sleepiness, he leaned back and watched the stars through the glass window in his office."There's something wrong here. After all, no one anybody wants the others to see their quarrel."Shannon, who was still closed up in bed, could not do much. She glanced at the clock that was still pointing to four in the morning while clearing her throat, adjusting her voice that was still hoarse because she had just woken up from a night's sleep."Didn't I tell you before? Because of her head injury, it's possible for Camellia to change for good in just a matter of nights. It doesn't hurt us anyway, does it? Maybe we have the advantage of keeping a close eye on their progress in making plans."

Shannon, who had fallen back asleep, suddenly woke up quickly. There were negative thoughts that suddenly filled her head that were still sleepy. Unwillingly, she got up and contacted someone. "Mr Camerun, I'm sorry if I interrupted your time. But if I may ask, did Aland contact you before?"Pete, who was also feeling anxious, woke up. He got up and tried to pay attention to the landline. "Is there something you're worried about, Ms Reynolds?"Shannon hesitated to say anything. But no matter what, she couldn't remain silent and wait to hear from Tom, who suddenly sounded hurried. Slowly, Shannon got up from the bed and paced restlessly."The last time he disconnected the phone, he sounded hurried, Mr Camerun. I think something has happened. Should I go over there to see his current condition?"Pete glanced at the clock and shook his head, rejecting Shannon's absurd order. "It's still too dark, Ms Reynolds. Jill threw the wineglass in her hand quickly at Arthur. Her eyes were red with resentment when she heard the news that Tom had survived and Brown hadn't done his job properly."Is there no one else I can count on?"Arthur jumped backwards to get out of the way. His breath caught in his throat as he recalled the stakes that hadn't yet been raised by Jill, who was beginning to lose her mind."The police aren't continuing their investigation because there's firm evidence from the hidden cameras that Tom stabbed Lark in self-defence, Mrs Reynolds."Jill gave Arthur a sharp glance. She approached Arthur with wide strides. "I don't care and I don't want to know anything about it, Arthur! At least, if Brown dies, he won't be able to blackmail us! He won't make us go down with him."Arthur looked down and nodded in affirmation as he gazed out of the window of Jill Reynolds' luxurious room. "You're right. But doesn't that mean we can make Tom stop

"We should get going, Pete."Tom had just finished changing when Shannon suddenly walked in with a downcast look, then she glanced to the side as Tom's head nodded curiously. As for Pete, he quickly tidied up his laptop and all the files he had taken from JF Moulding in order to deliver the furniture that was ready to be transported by two large trucks.Shannon opened the door to the room wide enough for Tom to step in. She entered, nodding when Tom saw who had arrived."I heard you almost died, Cobb."Tom was not surprised by the arrival of Jill Reynolds, who wanted to check on him. He invited her to come in and sit on the sofa after Pete left with a lot of luggage."Not nearly dead, Mrs Reynolds. But getting up once again. Isn't that right?"Jill grinned, then glanced at Pete, who had left first after bowing to her. She looked at Tom, who was getting ready to go back to work in a cheap suit he'd picked up at the conven

He rubbed the corner of Shannon's eyes that had to get wet and then touched her chin for a while."If you don't want to go anywhere and still want to accompany me, then you have to grow stronger than before, Ms Reynolds. This is only the beginning. And for them, there may never be a happy ending for us."Shannon blinked quickly, glancing up to keep her tears at bay. "Of course. I'll be stronger. We'll face this together. I'll show them that despite their bullying, we can still live happily."Pete, who was still there, smiled and raised his thumbs up to his chest as the couple turned to him. Arthur paced back and forth outside his room as he continued to call the customers he had been convinced to return. Unfortunately, his calls were always rejected, and even diverted.Arthur still didn't want to lose hope. He kept trying to find some well-known writers to promote JF Printing as a printing house with high integrity in its field. Unfortunately, by the end of the night, he hadn't even received any of his hard-earned money.Seeing Arthur getting frustrated on the spot, Stallone got up and tapped Arthur lightly on the shoulder. He nodded and asked for Arthur's phone, which he had been holding in his hand."I know someone who probably won't turn you down, Mr Fischer."Arthur's jaw dropped after twisting his head. He nodded his head as if he was waiting for an answer. "What? Why are you talking now?"Brad looked down slowly before finally looking back at Arthur with doubt. Since morning, I asked some technicians to install many surveillance cameras at JF Moulding and JF Properties."Tom placed the tab Pete had bought on the table. He rested his head on the back of the chair that could be adjusted in height and angle. "We're innocent, Pete. We shouldn't be afraid."Pete lowered his head slowly before finally leaning back. He walked over to a picture of James as a young man with his happy little family. "I'm not scared because we're right, Tom. I just know we have to take risks in the truth. You know, the world is not just about right and wrong. It's about the strong and the weak. The brave and the afraid. There's a lot more to it than that. And I just want to make our path easier. I don't want the same thing to happen again. Because without you, I don't know who else I would hope for."Seeing Pete gazing at the picture of his childhood family, Tom moved. He also moved

"I do," Arthur said as he took out a red velvet box from beneath his luxurious clothes. He placed a simple ring with a single jewel on Dwyane's finger, which looked beautiful in his eyes. After that, the priest began to lead the prayers. It didn't take long for the two to sign the marriage contract.Although Arthur's second wedding ceremony was only held at the nearest church in the neighbourhood of the hospital, the happiness was evident on his pale face. He had been a wheelchair user for more than two hours, enduring the pain in his solar plexus after his surgery five days ago. There were only seven people in the church to witness Arthur's far from simple wedding. No party, no food. Only Shannon, Aland, Pete, Will Smith, John Benedict, Phil Allen, and Edward Frey, the officer who uncovered Arthur's many hidden cases. The first-born was given to Arthur, even though he was in a wheelchair. Seeing Arthur's weakening condition, the priest rushed the blessing and lighti

"I'm going to file for a marriage annulment. So, will you be my lover, Dwyane?"Arthur's request just after Camellia disconnected the call made Dwyane melt. She burst into tears as he approached Arthur, who was still lying in the cage."Why just lovers? You can get married after cancelling your previous marriage," Aland said from the sofa.Aland immediately got up and approached with both hands in each of his trouser pockets. He grabbed his laptop before moving on, as he did not even get a response from his brother.Arthur was silent. Not only him, even Dwyane didn't know what to say when he was in the middle of such an awkward situation. As he put his work laptop in his bag, Aland spoke up again to help."I'll talk to Mr Smith right away. He will help you to file for a marriage cancellation as soon as possible. Only then, you guys can get married before you actually return to prison in six days. "Are you sure you're okay?"Camellia asked from a distance. The look of concern was visible, but it was not savoured by Arthur as he had savoured the anxiety on Dwyane's face earlier. The two were now connected through a call Aland had made to Mr Cavill, who was visiting his daughter. Using a phone and a laptop, the two were now face to face, even though it was only through a call connection.Arthur nodded in response to his wife's question at the end of the call. Unfortunately, he could not take his attention away from Dwyane, who was busy writing in the corner of the room."I'm fine, Lia. What about you? Did mum cause trouble again? Did she hurt you?"Although she sounded more concerned than before, Lia knew very well that it was just a pep talk from her husband. "What else this time, Dwyane?"Arthur's question made Dwyane shake her head slowly. She plugged the flash disc into the laptop she had brought with her. She positioned it so that the screen was facing the direction where Arthur was."I haven't seen it myself, Arthur. You can see for yourself. This was given to me by Aland. He said it was a precious gift for you."Hearing Aland's name, Arthur rose lazily. He shook his head, refusing to see what he really wanted to show."No, Dwyane. That's enough. The other day you brought me the news you secretly heard from him. And it really kept me up all night long. Now what? Are they planning to frustrate me here?"Dwyane shook her head slowly. She was just trying to keep Arthur's attention back on what Aland was about to show him."No, Arthur. The other day, the possibility that I was wrong was quite high. Aland said that sometimes there is some information that is missed and contributes greatly to misunderstandings. Tha

"Since when did you become so talkative, Cobb?"Jill's counterattack made Aland pause. He looked at Jill, who grabbed a plastic chair to sit across from him."How can I help you with coming all the way out here?"Aland glanced at Shannon for a moment, trying to make sure that his wife was fully prepared. "What did you say? Sorry, but can you say it again?"Shannon's request was not without reason. For the first time, she sat in Will Smith's room with Pete and her husband to explain everything.Aland closed his eyes and smiled faintly. His hands were intertwined with each other in a position in the middle of her legs."I'm not misspeaking, Shannon. This is the truth. "Sophie? You're trying to defame our orphanage just because of Sophie's case? Do you also want to examine all the children in this orphanage so that you can be satisfied with your judgement, Mr Fischer?"Aland turned to Shannon briefly before leaning forward, trying to calm him down. "Listen to me, Mr Flitch. This is not what you think it is. We're not here to make a statement or to judge your orphanage as bad, no. I'm just here because there's something wrong. I'm only here because there's something I wanna to know. About Sophie. That's all. We will never tell anyone that Sophie is from here. After all, the whole of the UK knows that Sophie's dangerous behaviour is not the result of someone's upbringing, but her disposition, which may never change even twenty years later. We're just looking into her bloodline. That's all."Dom Flitch squinted with an angry gaze. His previously cupped hands immediately came closer, watching Aland and Shannon's movements that seemed so d
