Arthur withdrew his hand quickly as he watched Jill repeatedly. Not only Arthur, Camellia, who had been smiling hopefully, also frowned in surprise.

"Are you kidding, Mrs Reynolds? Getting married tomorrow or the day after? I haven't even prepared anything after you rejected me. How am I going to work and prepare everything now?”

Camellia looked down for a moment before finally looking at her mum, who was now shaking her head in disbelief. "Mum, I haven't even fully recovered yet. How can I possibly get married tomorrow or the day after? Weddings are the happiest moments and I don't want to lose them just because mum is rushing it."

Arthur turned to Camellia and nodded in confirmation. "That's what I mean too, Mrs Reynolds."

Jill swallowed, then chuckled. Her blissful gaze faded and was replaced with disgust. "Yesterday and the day before, you kept asking me to marry you off. And this time you're asking how you're going to solve everything alone? Are you trying to belittle me now?"
