Tom woke up when it was time for lunch. He grew quite wide-eyed when he realised Shannon was sitting across from him.

Tom looked down and laughed for a moment. He looked at Shannon, who was now supporting her chin with the back of her hand. "Even I dream in broad daylight."

Shannon frowned when she realised Tom thought it was just a dream. She snapped her fingers right in front of Tom's face, who was still blinking, with his head resting on the table and his arm resting on it.

How surprised Tom was to hear Shannon's fingers snap before his eyes. He hastily sat up and scooped her up roughly.

"When did you come, Ms Reynolds? Why didn't you wake me up? Is something wrong? Did something happen?"

Shannon stifled her laughter at the sight of a distraught Tom. She showed him her phone while pointing at it with a forefinger shaped like a gun ready to fire.

"There is. I contacted a dozen times person and got no answer. So I decided to visit JF Properties, but Liam said he didn't get a reply wh
