CHAPTER 162

Anita and Rhea got into Rhea’s office and Anita’s lips parted as she took in its modern, yet minimalist interior. The walls were a pastel white color and the maple colored furniture complimented it, adding to the sophisticated appearance of the office.

Her gaze was then drawn to the ceiling-to-floor window that dominated the entirety of one wall, offering a breathtaking view of the city’s skyline.

Rhea’s office definitely looked like it belonged on the front cover of an architectural digest magazine.

Rhea noticed Anita gawking at her office and smiled knowingly. That was the same reaction she always got from anyone who came into her office.

“Please have a seat,” she offered, pulling Anita from her reverie as she gestured towards the plush leather chair facing her rich, maple colored desk.

Anita smiled sheepishly as she stopped gawking and took a seat on the chair opposite Rhea. Rhea retrieved a stack of papers from the drawer of her desk and placed them on top of the desk.
