7.His new life

The car stopped and butler Arthur opened the car door for Samuel and Dion. As Dion came out from the car, his eyes grew bigger seeing the huge mansion in front of him. It was two times bigger than the Beiber’s mansion.

“Wow.” he mumbled.

Arthur and Samuel both chuckled a bit and let Dion impressed the surroundings. He wouldn’t believe that his family was really richer than the others as what Arthur had told him back at the hospital lobby.

“All of these would be yours someday...” Samuel said.

Arthur smiled and patted Dion’s shoulder. He couldn’t still something but followed them inside the mansion. As they arrived by the living room, their teas were already prepared.

“Sit down, son. I am going to talk to you for a minute.” Samuel told him.

Dion panicked as he thought about his wife, Georgina.

“What? No, I am sorry, but I still don’t have time to sit here. My wife needs me. I need to go back to her.” he said.

Before he stood up, Samuel called his name with an authority in his voice. He might sound angry, but he just wanted him to be safe.

“You need to stay calm and alert, Dion. Before you go back and take your wife. I am not saying you can just abandon her. You can take her home here and stay here. But first, we need a plan.” Samuel said.

Dion sighed and went back to his seat. His grandfather was right.

“Don’t be in such a hurry, grandson. Right now, they might be very shocked that you weren’t there anymore.” he added.

Dion and his grandfather just sat down and talked about their family. While they were planning, the Beibers were shocked that he was already out of prison.

“What?! How could that happen?!” Lady Vilma shouted.

The police just called them to say that Dion was already released but when they asked them who took him, they were afraid to tell him what Samuel told them.

“I don’t know, mom. They just told me that if we want to lock him up again, we would be seeing the at court. That’s what they said.” Rio said.

Georgina from the corner couldn’t stop feeling happy and relieved. She thought her husband was still there and that she couldn’t do anything.

“Georgina!” George shouted at her.

She looked at them who were all looking at her. She hid her smile and didn’t say anything.

“Come here, my precious.” Lady Vilma asked her.

She slowly went forward and couldn’t help but feel very nervous.

“Do you know who took him out?” they asked her.

She shook her head. Right now, they thought she was with them, but they were all wrong. They thought Dion had called or must have told her something.

“No, he never told me about anything.” she answered.

All of them wouldn’t believe her but she doesn’t care. Her sister and her brother even sneered at her thinking that she was lying.

“This is impossible! How dare they released him without notifying us?!” Lady Vilma shouted.

All of them shut their mouths up. She couldn’t stop thinking that a bigger person took Dion.

“It’s possible if someone bigger than us took him out, right?” George asked her.

Lady Vilma looked at her grandson with a curious look, but she felt that he had a point with what he just said. She just groaned and headed inside her room. All of them were left in shock.

“Gosh! I hope they just killed that, Dion. He always gave problems in our family!” Charlotte said.

Georgina heard what her sister said and scoffed. She bravely looked at her.

“What did you say, Charlotte? He’s still my husband for Pete’s sake. What if we exchange his position with Leo, huh? What are you going to do?” Georgina mocked her.

Charlotte’s eyes grew bigger. All of them were and they wouldn’t expect that she could say that.

“Talk again about Leo and I am going to slap that mouth of yours. You can’t just admit that Dion was far from my Leo, Georgina. Leo’s rich and Dion’s not!” she shouted at her.

Georgina got madder and tired of them humiliating Dion. She slapped her sister, and everyone gasped. Before Charlotte grabbed her hair, their dad stopped them.

“You’re just adding problems in our family and you, Georgina, go and call your husband! Tell him to come home because he wasn’t done in his chores!” George Sr shouted at her.

Georgina scoffed while Charlotte smirked at her. Just because she married a man like Dion doesn’t mean they could just step at her like that. She left without saying anything and found her phone. She dialed Dion’s number, but she heard its ringtone just beside her.

“He left his phone.” she said disappointedly.

She felt hopeless but needed to believe in Dion.

“I know you hated me, but I am so sorry.” Samuel said to Dion.

Dion just nodded.

“It’s okay besides it’s from the past.” he said.

Samuel wanted to be with him before he left the world and he wanted to spend his left time being with him as well. Samuel handed a paper which made Dion shocked.

“What’s this?” he asked him.

Samuel smiled at them.

“Go on. Read it.” he said.

Dion looked at the paper and read everything. He wouldn’t believe that Arthur wasn’t lying. All of Scott’s properties, money, and everything were passed to his name. Below was Samuel’s signature as well.

“I rely on everything to you right now, Dion. Right now, it’s my time to rest. I want you to take care of everything very well.” Samuel told him.

Dion just looked at him and couldn’t help but feel very emotional.

“Thank you, grandpa.” he said.

Samuel was shocked with what he said but he was very happy that Dion finally called him his grandpa.

“My pleasure, tomorrow, you can start doing your plan. Bring back your wife here and I want to meet her.” Samuel said and giggled.

Dion was well was happy.
