Chapter 04: Mysterious Man

He stormed away from their home, he was angry and broken at the same time.

“F*ck!” He cursed as he punch the steering wheel causing a loud honking of the horn. His face is wet from tears, his loud sobs filled the inside of his car.

After calming himself, he decided to drive away, Sol didn’t even bother to follow him. He scoff at the thought. He hurriedly drives and heads to the bar. Maybe alcohol can help him calm, he didn’t want to bother his mother.

He parked his car when he reached the Bar and turned off the engine, he walk towards the entrance and he can hear the loud music, the crowd singing the song that the DJ was playing.

He sat on the stool and ordered himself a drink, his head is hurting and his heart is beating fast. He sighed heavily and accepted the drink. He pulled his phone out and drop it at the bar counter.

“She didn’t even bother calling me,” He turned his phone off and then drink the whiskey from the glass. He eyed the place and a man sat beside him, wearing a tuxedo and glasses, carrying a suitcase.

“Are you Tyron Lopez?” The man asked while ordering a beer, the man glanced at him, he has this weird and strong sense that he is trouble. “Why?”  He just asked.

“This is for you,” The man handed him the calling card and envelope. He read the card and it says Mondragon Law Firm, he scoffs and looks at the man with a mocking smile. “Is this about the divorce? Don’t worry, I will sign it,” He said.

“It’s not about the divorce, read it after when I’m gone,” The man said and left after he emptied his glass of beer and left a bill on the counter before leaving. He looks at the envelope and sighs.

He finished his glass and went outside instead, he opened the door of his car and went inside, with the envelope on his card. After leaning on the car seat, he opened the envelope.

It was a last will and testament. His eyes widen and read again what’s written on the paper. He was right, it was his name and Mr. Jack Anderson’s even his mother’s name is there. He crumpled the paper and toss it in the passenger seat before driving away.

He stopped at the liquor shop and bought whiskey, went back inside his car, and opened it before taking a gulp from the bottle. “Bullshits,” He scoff and leaned on the driver’s seat.

He again remembered what happened earlier, he close his fist and sigh heavily. He can feel the whiskey affecting him, he has a low tolerance for alcohol and it’s starting to make him dizzy.

Shook his head and palm his face, wiping off the tears in her eyes before starting the engine.

Tyron drives away, on the way to his mother. He just can’t ignore what happened, today too much had happened, and with the effect of the alcohol, he can already feel it kicking inside him.

He closes his eyes, trying to blink off the whiskey off his system when he heard a loud honking his life flashes before his eyes and everything turned into black.

“Have you secured the body?” The old man said, the man wearing a black suit nodded his head, they replaced the body inside the car before pouring gas on the car and the road making it look like it is real, when they made sure that everything is set, the man wearing the black suit lit up a lighter and throw it on the car setting it on fire.

“Where is my son?” Mr. Jack Anderson asked. The man guided him towards the room of their Villa and opened the door for him. “How is he?” He asked the Doctor, he bowed his head a little before answering.

“He’s fine, but we just need to make sure that everything is good, the bruises are all taken care of and he might be in shock when he wakes up, we will check on him from time to time Mr. Anderson,” He nodded his head after hearing the Doctor’s explanation, the Doctor excused himself and left the room.

He walks towards his son’s bed and looks at him intently. “Finally, you’re here,” Mr. Anderson said with a smile on his face.

“He’s dead,” Sol said, She leaned on the sofa, and she can feel his knees weaken. Gasping for air, she walks towards the table, finding her car keys. “Let me drive you there,” She heard Centia say, she just nodded her head.

“What the hell happened?” She whispered, she followed Centia to their car and went inside, as soon as they were settled inside, Centia started the engine and drove away.

They reached the hospital and she wore her jacket, covering her face as they entered the morgue room. Centia was following her, she gasped when he saw the body, it was burned but she can saw their wedding ring.

“What happened?” She asked the man in charge. “The police said they received a call saying there’s a car accident happened near Shara Valley, when they arrived they found the car, badly burned, they identified the body earlier and called you,” The man said, she gasped for air, she immediately went inside the room and called Tyron’s but it was unavailable. She thought that maybe she's already informed and on her way here.

“Damn!” She hissed and sat on the bench, Centia is already beside her, standing.

“Call my father and mother,” She ordered her, Centia immediately did what she was told and called them.

The morning came and the funeral was held. She sniffed and wipe off her tears. She raised her head and saw him. “What are you doing here?!” She whispered, pulling him towards the back of the place.

“Let’s end our relationship,” He said, she gasped and was taken aback by what he said. “What? Why? What about our child?! Damn it, Henry!” She said, with a pissed-off tone, she saw Henry smirk and leaned on the wall.

“Come on! It’s just a child, we had fun, did you not?” Henry said with a mocking tone, she slapped him hard and left him alone. She needs to focus and plan what will she do after this.

She saw Jack Anderson in the room, beside him is a man wearing a suit. At an old age, Jack still looks alive and postured. “How may I help you, Mr. Anderson?” She heard her mother ask, with a bright smile on her lips, she clasped her palm together, and she saw how Mr. Anderson’s eyes darted toward her direction.

“You!” He pointed to her, with sharp eyes. She was puzzled and slowly walks in their direction. “Pardon, Mr. Anderson?” she asked, with a shaky voice. She didn’t know but something is off.

“You killed my son! How dare you held a funeral for him! You are not a worthy cheating bitch!” He shouted the people gasped in shock. “I’m s-sorry? What?” She said, not processing his words. “How dare you accused my daughter?!” Her mother shouted and was about to slap Mr. Anderson but his men stopped her immediately from doing so.

“You cheated on my son and the child you are carrying is not his! How dare you hurt my son?! You will pay for this!” Mr. Anderson shouted and glance at his men. “I will get my son and sue all of you! You will pay the price, Miss. Alonso, I will make sure of that!” The man said before leaving, his men escorted them outside, her mother is resisting but all she can do is breathe. It can’t be true, but how is he Mr. Anderson’s son?
