CHAPTER 05: JACK ANDERSON

The funeral was being held at the place of Anderson, like any other family, they are in grief and especially his said Father– Mr. Anderson.

“Who is he?” He asked the Doctor. “He’s stable and will soon gain consciousness,” The Doctor said, he nod his head and sat on the couch, they heard a knock on the door. “Mr. Anderson, this is Michael, may I come in?” He heard Michael at the door, he nod at his assistant, went to the door, and opened it.

“Mr. Anderson, here are the papers you requested yesterday,” He handed him the envelope, Mr. Anderson opened it and smirks. “Did you already do what I told you yesterday?” He asked Michael without even looking at him. Michael nodded his head. “Good.”

His men reported that Ms. Gabriela went missing. “You imbeciles! Find her!” He shouted and the men immediately went outside. He should keep her safe, after all, she’s Tyron’s mother. He gritted his teeth and looks at the pictures in front of him.

“Bastard,” He whispered and stood up. The door opened and he saw Tyron’s nurse. “He’s awake,” The nurse said, he walks towards the door and followed the nurse towards Tyron’s room. He can see him panicking, he is shouting, shooing away the Doctor.

“Tyron,” He called his name. He saw him stop. “Who are you, people?!” He shouted, Jack walks towards the end of the door and nodded at the nurses and Tyron’s doctor, they leave them, and when Jack heard the doors locked, he looks at him.

“First, I’m glad that you are now awake,” He said. “Let me introduce myself, I am Jack Anderson, your biological father,” He introduced himself, he saw Tyron looks at him intently, exactly how Gabriela would look when she is confused.

“My father is dead, my mother– Where’s my mother?!” He asked, again trying to get up from his bed. “She went missing,” He directly answered him.

“Missing? Why? What did you do?!” He shouted. “Calm down, We will find her,” Jack said, and he is sure of that, he will make sure that he will find her.

“You’re unconscious for almost a week, your dear cheating wife even held a funeral for you,” Jack said, mocking him. “Don’t mention her,” Tyron said, his knuckles turned into a fist, and gritted his teeth.

“Sign the papers,” Jack said, Tyron looked at him harshly, and he then handed him the paper that Michael gave him.

“If you’re my father, why did I grow up with my mother alone?” He asked him, Jack sighed. “We will talk it once you are fully recovered, for now, you need to sign that paper, think about it,” Jack said and left him inside the room alone.

He reached for the paper and read it. The paper states that he will inherit ninety-five percent of his assets and be the sole heir of his money, cars, and everything he has. His brows furrowed, and he move his feet, it is still sore but it is bearable.

“Fuck!” He cursed, and his feet feels heavy. He closes his eyes and reached for the glass of water beside his bed and drinks it. He needs to stand up, he needs to find his mother and punish his cheating wife– ex-wife.

He gritted his teeth and sighed heavily.

The door opened, a man wearing a white robe entered and a female nurse was behind him.

“How are you feeling, Mr. Anderson?” The Doctor asked, he groaned and tried to move his feet once again. “I can’t feel my legs,” He said, more like whispered. The Doctor pressed his feet. “Can you feel this?” The Doctor asked. He shakes his head.

“You will undergo therapy, other than that, do you still feel sore?” He asked, “I still feel a little sore in my back and arms,” He looks at his arm, it had some scars. “Alright, we will check on you and give you the medicines you need to take, and your therapist will be here soon,” He said. After running some tests, they left him alone. He looks at the clock and he can say it’s past noon. Slowly he reached for the table and take the phone, he should call his mother.

He dialed her number but it was unavailable. His brows furrowed. “What happened to her? I hope she’s safe,” He whispered, he tried calling her number again but no one was answering. He sighs and put the phone in his blanket before reaching for the envelope. There are other papers too, he tilts his head when he reached it and reads what was written.

“What the hell?!” He hissed after reading it, apparently, he is not the father of Sol’s child, and his anger even rose more. He is vivid. After he saw them cheating, he thought of blaming himself for what happened and he even was even thinking of begging for her forgiveness. He scoffs and throws the paper away after crumpling them. “Fuck them!” He shouted and lay down on the bed.

“Mr. Anderson?” He heard a voice on the door, it opened and he saw a man maybe he is in his early twenties, with a smile on his face he bowed his head behind him is a woman who was about five feet tall, wearing pants and sneakers. “Good afternoon, how are you?” The man asked him, but he didn’t answer him instead he looked at the woman behind him.

“Who is she?” He asked instead. The man motioned to her. “She’s Alyana, you’re therapist,” The man said, the woman bowed her head.

“It’s nice meeting you Mr. Anderson,” The woman named Alyana said. He just looks at her. “Ah! I forgot to introduce my name, I’m Kevin, your assistant,” The man said, he just nodded his head, and later on, the woman asked him questions and takes notes. Kevin stayed on the couch.

“They should be here,” Kevin said, they heard a knock on the door. “Ah! Great timing!” Kevin yelled and stood up from his seat.

Kevin opened the door and the maids carrying trays entered the room, putting the bowls and plates on the table before bowing their heads and leaving the room.

“Are you hungry, Miss. Alyana?” Kevin asked, and then looks at him. He carried a plate and walk towards his bed. “Here’s yours Mr. Anderson, enjoy,” Kevin said, placing them on his table before going back to the couch.

“Can I ask a question?” He asked Kevin, he comfortably sat on the couch and turns to face him. “Yes, sure you can Mr. Anderson,” He answered with a smile on his face.

“I still can’t process everything, is he really my father?” He asked, Kevin, nod his head. “He has been following you lately, I mean, he has his men following you everywhere and making sure you are safe,” Kevin answered, he nod his head and then looks at the table where his food is and took the spoon, he then started eating.

“I just want to inform you, Mr. Anderson, that you have a brother, the eldest son of Mr. Anderson, but–,” He said before acting like he is disgusted. “What?” Tyron asked.

“He’s the literal meaning of the word trouble, he’s a snob and a jerk,” Kevin casually said, he wondered, is he really? He shakes his head and sighs.

The first part of their session ended, and Kevin and Alyana left his room. Around six in the evening, the maids gave him his dinner, as well as the nurse, gave him the medicines he needed to take. He groaned and took the medicine, he hated the taste but he needs to take it.

“Urgh! It tastes awful, fuck!” He hissed and pick up the watermelon, immediately taking a bite from it. He heard a knock on the door and he saw Jack Anderson at the door, wearing his suit and his glasses, he walks towards the seat beside his bed, facing him.

“Are you doing good?” Mr. Jack Anderson asked. Tyron stared at him for a few seconds before opening his mouth to speak. “Why?” He asked. “Why did you save me?” He added. Jackson sat and leaned on the seat. “You’re my son, of course, I should,” Mr. Anderson said.

“You read the papers, right?” Jack asked him, he nodded his head. “I thought it was mine, she didn’t say anything but then,” He said and closed his eyes, remembering everything.

“I did a background check on her,” His father said. “Her mother persuaded her to claim the money that your mother left you in case anything will happen to her, that bitch dared to,” His father added. “My what?” Tyron asked. “You didn’t know?” His father asked him, he shakes his head.

“I’m sorry son, we found your mother, but–,” His father said, “What? Is she here? Is she fine?” He asked. His father shook his head. “She’s dead,” His father added.

His heart tightened. “No, you’re joking, right?” He said, his father shakes his head. “I wish, I am, but we found this,” His father handed him a paper. He opened it and gasped for air. “Who did this? Who fucking did this?!” He shouted.

“We are finding who was the murderer of your mother, but for now, you must focus on getting better,” His father said, his tears falling from his eyes. His mother died the same day he was in an accident. “I will fucking kill who did this to her!” The pain he is feeling is doubled, he didn’t care about the law, and he will punish whoever did this.

“We will, for now, do everything to get better,” His father said. After that he was left alone, he read again the letter.

You’re next, Anderson. Get ready.
