CHAPTER 06: BRUTAL
His belongings were recovered by his father during the incident, he opened his phone and saw his mother’s messages, one by one he read the text, as his tears were falling in his eyes.
‘Where are you? Please, come home, I think there’s someone downstairs,’
‘Sweetheart? Please, if you’re there, help me,’
‘The person is now coming upstairs, please,’
‘Take care, Son, I love you'
He wiped his tears as he read the texts, he should be blaming himself, he should have checked his phone and driven carefully, he should have been more responsible.
Sobs escaped his mouth, covering his mouth, and he groaned in pain.
“I promise to punish him for you, Mom,” He whispered and looked at the picture of them hugging his mother while they were smiling brightly.
He dialed his assistant’s number that was in his contacts.
After a few rings, Kevin picked up his call. “What’s up, Boss?” Kevin asked him, he didn’t mind if he talked to him casually. “I need you to find someone, please report to me immediately,” He said. “Okay, Boss!” Kevin answered, he then ended the call and leaned on his bed.
He then glanced at his bed, the pictures he scattered earlier. He took the one-piece picture and stared at it. It’s his ex-wife laughing while hugging her Director– Henry. He crumpled the paper and then gritted his teeth in anger.
“Wait for me, I’ll make sure there will be hell o a price to pay,” He said and closed his eyes.
The day started and he is doing his best to recover. The pain in his legs is now more bearable than before. He groaned in pain as he tried to lift his left leg, Alyana is beside him, guiding him.
“Careful, Mr. Anderson,” She said and guided him, he stepped his legs and closed his eyes, a tear escaped his eyes and his forehead was wet because of the sweat.
“You’re almost there, one more step,” Alyana said, he huffed and raised his left leg. He gripped the cane tighter after advancing forward. “Good job!” Alyana yelled. He smiled and wiped the bullet of sweat on his forehead.
“Mr. Anderson,” Kevin’s voice from the door. “Here’s the record, I asked for Mr. Jack and he gave me this, I also have a lead,” Kevin said, reaching for the folder that Kevin handed him.
“Thanks,” He said, Kevin, nodding his head. He sat on the couch and opened the folder. He saw pictures of the scenes where his mother was murdered, he can picture how brutally his mother was killed.
He closed his eyes and tried not to get emotional. “Fuck!” He uttered a curse. He opened his eyes again and took a look at the papers. “Son,” He heard Mr. Anderson’s voice. His father entered the room, and behind him was his assistant. His father is wearing a suit.
“It’s your last day of the funeral, the Alonso went here begging me, what should we do? Your turn to make a choice, son,” His father said, tilting his head. “How was the hunt for mother’s killer?” He asked instead. “He’s in the run, but don’t worry, my men are in search of the murderer,” He just nodded his head.
“Your wife– ex-wife is desperate, the scandal has been going around the news and internet, his lover left her and her career is damaged,” His father told him, and he grinned.
“Thanks, father,” He said, at least he's making them miserable. It’s enough for now– It will be his turn, just a little more.
They wrapped the session with a few reminders and tips from Alyana. He took a mental note, he should recover fast.
After dinner, he practiced with the cane, wearing a sando and pajamas. He slowly took little steps with the help of his cane. “Fuck it! Ugh!” He cursed after taking a few steps, his legs aching.
He sat on the sofa and leaned there, his legs and hips aching. He should not overdo it. Drinking a glass of water when he decided to take a peek at his phone, he pulled his phone out and unlocked it. He opened the news and searched for his ex-wife’s name.
Tyron saw the scandal, and rumors about his wife and how she was criticized and judged by people online.
He worries about the child– of course, the child is innocent and should not be punished for his mother’s wrong actions. He sighed heavily and lock the phone, tossing it on the sofa.
Tyron tried to stand up again, putting his strength on the cane as support before starts walking again towards the bed. He sat on the bed when he finally reached it. A loud groan filled his room because of the pain.
When he finally settled on the bed, he close his eyes and let himself drown to sleep.
Morning came, and he had another set of sessions for his recovery. This went on for weeks and every week, he is getting better, the best ever.
Alyana gave him the rope, and with little but steady jumps, he huff air before jumping.
“You’re doing great Mr. Alonso,” Alyan complimented him, he can now walk steadily– thanks to Alyana’s help. “Thanks to you,” He said, Alyana is Alonso’s personal therapist for physical recoveries. “It’s your determination that helped you reach where you are right now,” Ayana said with a little smile on her face. He just shakes his head and drinks the juice.
Dinner when he finally joined his father, after taking a bath and wearing something appropriate for dinner, he went down the stairs. He can hear the maids whispering but bowing their heads when he looks at them, his facial features got toned because of the workouts and proper diet.
When he reached the dining area, he saw his father with his lawyer and assistant, settled on the dining chair with a smile on their faces.
“Now, Now! Good to see you up and walking, son!” Mr. Jack Alonso enthusiastically said. He just smiled in response and sat on the chair next to his father’s.
“Thanks, father, I should be thankful to Miss. Alyana, she helped me a lot,” He said, his father nods his head. “Well, we should but it’s good to see you here son,” His father answered him, the dinner was already set, and his father and his assistant talked, with his lawyer.
“Son, you can ask Mr. Hayes for help if you need legal advice and anything that has to do with law,” His father said, he nods his head and finished his food quietly. After dinner, they had a bottle of beer together, he can see his father’s genuine smile toward his assistant and lawyer. Kevin said they are his scholars and his father mentored them, gave them a name that they earned, and keep it clean but his brother didn’t, he instead rebels against his father and went the opposite direction.
He wonders, where is his brother right now.
CHAPTER 07: THE ROTTEN FRUITMorning came and he requested an office inside the mansion, his father allowed him and he said he should learn the things he needs to learn in running their business. Aside from the hotels, his father owned a construction company and even multiple real estate buildings, a food business, and investments. The men immediately carried the table, cabinets, and even the types of equipment he needs inside the vacant room of the mansion, his father’s interior designer made it manly yet pleasing to the eyes, combined with white and black accents inside the office, with a touch of gray.He smiled when he saw the office, after a week of making sure everything is based on his liking, he can finally use it.“Son,” His father called his attention, he raised his head and saw his father roaming around his office. “Good to see that you liked the room,” His father added. He nod his head and leaned on his swivel chair.“Thanks for the help,” He said, his father just nods hi
CHAPTER 08: WELCOME TO HELL“So, you’re my brother,” Morgan Anderson, his brother said. Morgan tilted his head and looks at Tyron from head to toe. “Huh! Not bad,” His brother said before leaving and leaving him alone. Morgan walks towards the stairs, whistling a tune. He shakes his head and sighs.“Father should have told me that he is coming,” Tyron murmured. He stood up from his seat and then walks towards the stairs when he finished eating and went back to his office. He sat on the chair and called his father. “Father,” He started, his father immediately picked up after a few rings. “Yes, Son,” His father answered. “You didn’t tell me that Morgan is coming home,” He said. “He’s home? That spoiled brat! I’ll be back after an hour, for the meantime, avoid fighting or crossing paths with that devil,” His father said before ending the call. He doesn’t have the energy to argue with his brother, besides, he doesn’t know him well.A knock from the door woke him up from his thoughts. “Co
CHAPTER 09: Losing Someone“No! You can’t do that! How dare you accuse us of stealing from our company?!” Mrs. Alonso shouted, her hand creating a loud sound as she smashed her hand on the table. “Apparently, We have, Mrs. Alonso, since Mr. Alonso stated here that he sold his shares and the ownership of the Hotel if he can’t pay the amount of money that he borrowed,” Mr. Hayes said, sounding serious about the situation, without a hint of guilt and remorse.“W-what?” Mrs. Alonso was shocked by what she heard. “No, that can’t be,” Mr. Hayes gave her the paper. “Sign it,” Mr. Hayes said, Kevin beside him who is seating, waiting for the meeting to end, the board members elected Mr. Titus Anderson as the CEO of the Hotel and Resort. “Mrs. Alonso, let’s not delay the meeting, it is clearly stated, Mr. Alonso knew the consequences of his actions,” Mr. Arturo said, one of the board members of Alonso’s Hotel and Resort. “Shut up!” Mrs. Alonso shouted, looking at Mr. Arturo harshly. “Don’t wai
CHAPTER 10: THE RISE OF TITUS ANDERSONEvening came, and the people of the mansion were busy preparing for the party this evening. Tyron heaved a sigh as he stared at his reflection in the mirror, after fixing his tie. “Mr. Anderson?” One of the maids called his name, he glance at the maid thru the mirror’s reflection.“Are you ready? Your father is waiting for you,” The maid said, he nodded his head and turn, walking towards the door. He saw his brother outside leaning on the wall, holding a bottle of wine, his hair is messy, his tie is unknot and he is only wearing white long sleeves and slacks. “What are you doing here?” He asked, he saw how his brother grinned before glancing at him. “Nothing, brother, don’t be so tense,” His brother said. He was about to walk past him when his brother spoke. “I wish that you would not regret the decision you made brother, it’s not easy in here,” His brother added, it sounded like a threat. “I’ve been through worst, and don’t worry, I won’t,” He
Chapter 11: Future PlansTyron looks at his watch as his father was talking. “That bastard! Fix this immediately, Michael!” He can sense his father’s irritation, aside from his shouting, his facial expression says it all. The party went from a good into a disaster and the humiliation is not good for her father’s expression, especially in society they also had the team stop the news and rumors, paying money to shut down articles.“I swear that boy will be the death of me,” His father hissed. He is bored from watching the team do their thing, he stood up from his seat and walks towards the beverages and pours his glass a whiskey, dropped some ice.“He knows what he is doing father, and besides, that woman is his girlfriend,” He said, not trying to calm his father down, he should at least secure his position, with his brother threatening him, he should do something, or maybe prepare for war. “Unfortunately, he does not, and you should never do what your brother did, Titus!” His father r

I will dear brother, just wait and see,” From his angry expression, Morgan’s expression changed quickly.“I’ve got nothing to lose, brother, unlike you,” Titus said and stood up from the chair, Kevin immediately followed him, the warden closed the gate and they walked towards the jail’s exit. They immediately headed towards Titus' car, the driver opened the door for them and they immediately went inside. On their way to the mansion, his father called. “Titus, where are you?” His father asked. “Out, why?
CHAPTER 13: LOVERSHe stared out the window, and from where he is standing he can see how Leonora– his father’s wife mistreated the maids. He shakes his head and walks back towards his table. His father entered the room, wearing a suit. “Son, I will be gone for a week, take care of everything in the meantime, Michael will be assisting you,” His father said, he nodded his head, as a trainee for his father’s company, he has a lot to deal with and know about. After bidding goodbye, his father left the room. He knows that he will be with Leonora, and maybe as compensation for his stay, his father will give all his stepmother’s whims. As soon as his father left, he heard his phone ring, he looks at the screen and Michael’s name is on the screen. “Hmm,” He hmmed and then answered the phone. “Mr. Anderson, did your father already inform you?” Michael’s question. “Yes, he did,” He answered. “Will have a meeting this Saturday and you will be introduced formally, it’s your father’s order,” M
