Gerald's eyes darted around the room, searching for an escape route, but none was visible as Ethan stood menacingly before him. Ethan’s calm demeanor frightened him despite how hefty he was.

Ethan glared at him, “How brilliant of you to have made everyone believe it was Davis while you went ahead to work as an Ambassador, flushing all that cash through the system.”

Ethan approached Gerald, causing him to shift backward until his back hit the wall.

“Why are you doing this?” Gerald’s trembling voice rang out.

Ethan smirked. “You made it personal when you tried to hurt those closest to me!”

Gerald suddenly shook the fear that had been brewing within him. He sent a punch in Ethan's direction but Ethan stopped it with a slap but didn't attempt to retaliate.

“Do that again and you'll be spending your night in the same village as Simon,” Ethan warned through clenched teeth.
