Chapter 6: The Strange Transformation

Alex had just returned home when he received a call from the school.

"Hello, Alex. You will be expelled for causing a fight and injuring a fellow student at school."

This was clearly the voice of the principal.

Alex smirked sarcastically, "Why don't you ask what your son did? The injuries he sustained probably just required him to stay in bed for two days. Yet, here I am, getting expelled. It's funny how strict the school rules are. I wonder how many times Steven must have been protected by you to avoid getting expelled despite being notorious for bullying. Ha ha."

The principal was stunned by Alex's words and couldn't respond immediately.

In her contemplation, things had never been like this before.

Alex was a studious person, a typical bookworm.

Ideally, upon hearing the expulsion notice, he should be remorseful and beg for another chance instead of turning around and mocking her like this!

The principal was truly angered.

She gripped the phone tightly, her face furious. "It seems like you really don't want to continue studying in this school, do you?"

Alex calmly replied, "Exactly, breathing the same air as those people makes me sick. Alright, if there's nothing else, I'll hang up now. You're interrupting my important matters."

Without hesitation, he hung up.

On the other side, the principal heard the "click" sound from the phone, and her veins on her forehead throbbed.

Steven, standing beside her, still looked at his mother expectantly. "Mom, what happened?"

Unexpectedly, his mother suddenly shouted and then threw the phone aside.

The phone collided with the wall, and the screen immediately shattered into a spiderweb pattern, making it unclear if it could still be used.

"Alex is miserable! Why would there be such a rude and foolish kid? He thinks skipping school will solve everything, and he will regret it in the future!"

Seeing his mother like this, Steven knew she was suffering the consequences of his actions.

He remained silent, but the resentment in his heart didn't disappear.

Clearly, Alex had been expelled, but Steven felt even more bitter as if he had just eaten a pile of chili!

Regardless of what Steven and the principal thought, Alex was planning his own strong path at this moment.

Anyway, he didn't want to continue going to school from the beginning.

Being expelled wasn't a big issue.

He needed more time to prepare for the upcoming dungeon explosion; he really had no intention of going to school.

He just wanted to ensure his survival in the future.

Alex took water from the spatial dimension and poured it into the bathtub.

The water was so clear that it seemed to have no impurities.

Alex took a deep breath and then lay naked in the bathtub.

Almost immediately, an unimaginable pain struck him, making him unable to help but suppress a moan of agony.

He truly wanted to scream, but he held it back.

It was painful, as if countless ants had invaded his body after the water touched him, crazily biting at his flesh.

Alex felt like he wanted to die.

It wasn't until more than ten minutes later that the pain slightly subsided, but it didn't completely disappear.

Each piece of his flesh still ached persistently.

Alex exhaled deeply and leaned against the edge of the bathtub, closing his eyes waiting for the cleansing process to end...

Finally, Alex was awakened by a sudden splash of water.

He had fallen asleep directly in the bathtub!

Alex quickly stood up, and the still water, disturbed by his movements, made a loud, echoing sound as it splashed everywhere.

Alex gasped for breath, and it took a while for this suffocating sensation to disappear completely.

He slowly stepped out of the bathtub and drained the water.

By now, the water had turned black, and his body was covered in a murky black liquid, emitting a strange foul odor.

Alex turned on the water tap, washing away the filth on his body.

As if a burden had been lifted, Alex no longer felt the bone-deep pain.

Instead, he felt incredibly light, and his spirits were uplifted. This water was truly miraculous!

Looking at himself in the mirror, Alex's 17-year-old appearance seemed overly youthful, even giving off a vibe of "this person is easily deceived."

Sometimes, Alex wondered if he was genuinely easy to deceive or why so many things happened to him.

Why was he betrayed repeatedly?

However, at the moment, Alex no longer questioned.

He suddenly smiled, his eyes filled with danger.

Clearly, his appearance hadn't changed, but he seemed like an entirely different person.

At this point, he wouldn't give anyone a chance to betray him again.

.

The passage of time seems to depend on an individual's perception.

Some feel time crawls like a snail, while others think it passes in the blink of an eye.

Perhaps Alex belonged to the latter.

Nearly two months had passed, and he felt it was as fast as a blink, with just a week left until the explosive dungeon day!

After receiving payment from the auction, Alex used the fastest speed to buy a house in the suburbs and even purchased many training devices.

Every day, he would climb mountains, and by now, there was even a trail on the mountain created by him.

Moreover, he regularly immersed himself in water within the jade spatial dimension.

Until now, all impurities in his body had been completely removed.

At this point, his physical strength had increased rapidly, and his memory had become sharper.

The only regret might be that his artistic talent hadn't improved even a bit despite almost two months of drawing practice!

It was truly a challenging path.

At this moment, Alex wished he were a painting genius.

Furthermore, the growth rate of his abilities was extremely slow.

After nearly two months of strenuous training, even though he had almost exhausted himself, his ability was still at level F, requiring a little more to reach level E.

It truly was a hellish difficulty level!

At least Alex had never seen any ability with such challenging upgrade requirements.

Could it be because his ability was at level L?

Thinking back to the beautiful scenes he initially imagined, Alex could only shed tears like instant noodles!

Only through practice did he realize how challenging this ability was; a slight mistake would drain all his energy.

It was truly too difficult!

Another exhausting day of training ended, and Alex entered the bathroom to cleanse his body.

In front of him was a large mirror that allowed him to see himself.

Nearly two months had passed, and despite Alex's crazy training, his appearance... remained unchanged.

Muscles stayed the same, and height stayed the same.

Fortunately, even though the appearance didn't change, the energy did, giving Alex some peace of mind.

But now, he could determine one thing – his body seemed unlikely to undergo significant changes after his rebirth.

It was as if he would forever be stuck at the 1.75m figure.

However, Alex no longer paid much attention to his outward appearance; as long as he was strong, nothing else mattered!

At this point, Alex was no longer the same person he was initially.

He could easily kick them away if anyone dared to mock his weak physique.

If there was any change, it might be his hair.

For some unknown reason, Alex's hair had gradually turned white since the day of his rebirth, and eventually, his entire head became snowy white.

Even if he dyed it black, by the next morning, everything returned to normal.

Regardless, with all the strange occurrences happening, Alex didn't think much about his hair anymore.

He considered it a consequence of his rebirth.

Looking at himself in the mirror, Alex sighed and then returned to bed.

The following day, Alex woke up a bit earlier than usual.

Today, he planned to go into the city.

He wanted to buy high-quality sportswear to prepare for the upcoming dungeon explosion.

Such items would increase in value during the explosion, and Alex wanted to be well-prepared.

Sitting on his bicycle, Alex pedaled without hesitation towards the city.

Of course, this wasn't a method for an ordinary person.

The distance from the suburbs to the city was quite far, and Alex chose to ride his bike to train himself simultaneously.
