Chapter 9: Swerdion Guild And Their Rank

(Swerdion Guild)

"Welcome! What are you doing here? Do you have a request?" The woman at the counter asked us.

As far as I know, she manages the people who want to join their Guild and also the requests. There are also other cases that I am not aware of. They are called receptionists in my previous world, not the Immortal World.

"We wanted to join. Mr. Anoe suggested this guild." I said.

I also looked around. Swerdion is wide. There are tables and chairs in a circle to our right and left direction behind us. There are also seated people with various weapons. I see only men and a few women too.

In front of us on the right are the requests of the people in the X Kingdom. And on the left is a path to the other space. But with a sign on top that says 'For Workers Only.'

"Oh! So it is you! Mr. Anoe told us that someone will join our guild yesterday. Do you know what the rules are for each guild to join?" She inquired us with a smile.

We nodded at her. Kyle added this information, remembering that they forgot to say something important to us. Before you can enter the guild you must first prove that you are capable and not a burden. When you find out that you are not ready for the requests, you need to direct to study at S High so they can help you improve.

That was the change.

"Yes." It was Seji who spoke.

He is now wearing butler clothes. He still has black gloves. Feria, on the other hand, is wearing a black cloak and her short jeans are also black. She has a necklace with a pendant of two crescent moons turned upside down but small. The ring I gave her is on her right ring finger. Seji is like that too.

As for me, a black polo t-shirt and a jacket. Around my waist is a belt pocket that holds a magic scroll and a knife. Others can't just open the scroll without my permission. There will be a way to open it but the writing inside will be lost.

So far there is no letter because I am waiting for an answer from the other side or let's say I am waiting for a reply from Zyber Land.

"Miss, can we take it from another kingdom?" I answered directly.

"Yes. As long as you bring 5 magic cores of Reglion. But be careful with each of their sizes."

Reglion is a type of animal found in every kingdom. It is in Class B-Rank but still depends on the size. When he was young he was a Class D-Rank. When it's five inches in size it's at C-Rank. And ten inches or fifteen is at A-Rank. It's still growing reaching twenty and above at S-Rank.

Someone has been killed in A-Rank but so far no one has defeated S-Rank. It especially can breathe fire. There is also a rumor that someone has already killed S-Rank, but since so much time has passed, no one knows about that rumor.

In fact, those animals did not actually come from this world, but from the nearby Immortal World. The Regzon World.

If they are not killed at a young age there will be a lot of trouble. Many will die and families or even kingdoms will be destroyed if it continues to grow.

"Is it okay?" I asked her and took out of my dimensional box the Reglions I killed in the Zeraph Kingdom and the same in the Lerand Kingdom.

The reason why I was banned from those two kingdoms, at a young age I was able to kill Class S-Rank. Not one but three. Instead of being thankful, I looked like a monster in their eyes. That was the rumor in those days.

I did not release the magic core of the S-Rank and A-Rank reglion. Only D-Rank and C-Rank. I killed more than thirty reglions. Not including two ranks. The three of us just will divide it into ten.

The woman's eyes and mouth widened at what she saw. She even turned to me before the magic core landed on the counter in front of her and even to my colleague who had serious faces.

"D-did you defeat all of this?"

"Then what's the purpose of this thing?" Feria also raised a question to the woman sarcastically.

The person in front of us shook her head quickly and then took out a piece of red paper and a pen. She gave them to us one by one while her hands still trembled.

Is it such a big deal to kill a reglion? Maybe!'

"Just fill up the registration form and I'll prepare for your guild card." She instructed us.

That's why we decided to answer the question on the paper.

[Name: Raze Zyler

Age: 17 Years Old

Skill: Tamer, Swordsman

Job: Hunter]

I was going to put only Swordsman but I remembered that I use the skill that can tame creatures around me when I need to. Sometimes I get hit by laziness so I give the animals I see what I have to do. I also don't have a permanent job but being a hunter is what I always fulfill.

I also know that the king of Norem Kingdom will not interfere with me because of his promise before bringing me to the X kingdom. So I can freely put the skill I have.

I turned my gaze to the two. I first looked at what they wrote.

[Name: Seji Deiv

Age: 18 Years Old

Skill: Spearman, Dark Manipulation

Job: Guard Of My Master Raze]

What the f*ck?!

I quickly gave the person next to me a glaring look because of what I read. But he just smiled at me as if he was still teasing. I wanted to punch this guy for what he wrote but I just calmed myself down before turning over another piece of paper. Hopefully not like Seji.

[Name: Feria Sky

Age: 18 Years Old

Skill: Swordsman, Air Manipulation

Job: Hunter]

Sigh

Fortunately, Feria is serious about things. I don't know what Seji ate to put that on paper. I am not noble in this world.

"Oh? You're a noble, Mr. Raze?" I knew it.

"N-no, I'm just teaching him." I shortly responded. At the same time, I looked evilly at Seji who just scratched the back of his neck.

"Understood! But, are you related to our Guildmaster?" It asked me in surprise. Even I couldn't get what she was referring to.

"What is the name of the Guildmaster in Swerdion?" My conclusion too.

"He's Mikael Zyler, the youngest Guildmaster of All Guildmasters and the Reverox Guildmaster is his Eldest Brother. You don't know?" I was shaken by her answer.

I wouldn't have thought that they were living in the X Kingdom. I just hope the other three are not here. Especially since I have a problem with them.

"No. And I'm sorry, I'm not related to them." I lied.

When the two find out, they are sure to sulk. So all I can do now is hide and run when I feel their presence.

"Oh, okay! Then, just wait for a moment please!" We only nodded in response.

The woman took the papers and then went straight to the left path to go inside. She will prepare our identification card.

(Master!) I heard my name called from the other side.

I can assure you already that he is the son of the Goblin King. He was also the one I commissioned to give me the names of every family in a house. There is a letter above their door to indicate who is inside. But because their races don't have names, I thought that they will suggest the name they want.

The Goblin King's son's job is not what I ordered but he is available at this time. My two assignees are helping with the products we're releasing in Zyber Land.

The king's son is a bit lazy but when you order he will do the job. Maybe he was just waiting for instructions rather than taking the initiative. I was like that before I went to the immortal world.

[Did you finish what I ordered for you last week?]

(Yes, Master! How can I bring it to you?)

[Just tap it on the pendant of the necklace that I gave to you.]

I ordered.

(Yes!)

It answered immediately. I never heard anything else from him. But I noticed the illumination of the scroll that was on my waist right in front of me. The beam is not that bright. It was only right for the three of us to see.

"What's that, Master?" Seji asked me curiously. He pointed to the parchment at my waist. "Documents," I answered him and turned around to see the receptionist coming in our direction.

"Thank you for waiting. Here are your guild cards. If you wanted to take a request, just check out the board!" She said with a smile before giving us our cards.

So I took mine and looked at the writing. They just copied what we answered but below in it is our rank. I'm in Rank E, the lowest rank in adventurer. I already know that is coming.

And I know that I'm the only one with this rank.

**

"Eh? Rank E? How come? You're the strongest of us! You should be in Rank C! This is unforgivable! I should tell them that you're not weak!" Seji snorted when he saw the card that I had hidden from them but still got it.

I don't want to make a big deal out of this. Then that's fine, at least I'm still living a quiet life. When you are in a high position or rank, everyone looks up to you. Someone wants to join the party to use your popularity as well.

The only ugly thing about being the lowest is what people think of you. They degraded you first before they find out that you were useful.

"Don't. Let them be, Seji." I seriously reply. I even raised my head that was bowed earlier and then gave him a meaningful look. Same with Feria who is quiet on my left but I can feel the energy she is releasing.

"B-but..." he continued to protest.

I can see the worry in his eyes. For him, this is a disrespect to what he considers to be a master. Demon is known for being evil but they are loyal when it comes to service. Even if it cost their lives, they would do everything for the poor praise.

"It's okay. Let's find an inn and take a rest. We'll just take the request tomorrow." I replied and then walked down this long road.

There aren't that many people passing through the Guilds. I just noticed that they were carrying two brown sacks to where they belonged. Not every guild is that far away. Maybe everyone is just ten steps away.

But that's not the real Guild, it's just a branch. Their Main Guild is located in different parts of the X Kingdom. So I can be sure that the two are not in the Capital, but somewhere else.

So for now I am free from these people. To the creatures that I can consider my 'Children'.
