Dereck knew that something was weighing on Louzen's mind just by looking at his Master's attitude. But Dereck could do nothing but serve by his Master's side.

Seeing how his master was enjoying the pancakes with a blank stare made Dereck bow.

"Sir, I'm sorry if I'm presumptuous. Is there anything weighing on your mind?" Dereck's sudden question made Louzen put back the pancake that had almost entered his mouth.

Louzen smiled lightly, "Even if something were weighing on my mind, you wouldn't understand. In the future, you don't need to sympathize with me. Now stand up! I'm not used to seeing people bowing down in front of me. Break your habit on this one."

"Yes, sir." Dereck again stood upright beside the sofa without doing anything.

Louzen's lips wore a bitter smile, 'It's not that easy to blend into my second life. In the end, the past still shadows me. Vi... are you happy in your current life? Will we be able to meet again if I'm gone?'
