Rival

Lidya sat in the living room, listening to her family members scoff. Jane, her mother's younger sister, kept cornering her.

"You'll never succeed, Lidya! Let's see, your business is doomed from the start. You have no talent or skills to run a business," Jane said in a condescending tone.

Lidya felt increasingly cornered by the ridicule. She tried to contain her emotions, but inside she felt hurt. "What's wrong with my business?" she asked.

"It's obvious, Lidya. You don't have enough investors. You can't manage money well," Jane said, still in a condescending tone.

Lidya was feeling increasingly desperate. She knew she needed investors to improve her business, but it was hard to find people who would trust her. She felt she had no choice but to keep trying.

Fighting back tears, Lidya said, "I know I can do it. I just need a chance and support from my family."

However, Jane just laughed sarcastically. "You'll never be able to do it. You're just wasting your time and money," Jane said.
