V1 Chapter 6: Stir
(R-18 Warning!)
In this world, most of the population were the common folks, or we call them commoners. But there were minorities too. The most prominent of them were Nobles.
Unlike earth, where Nobles just ruled with manipulation and starved people to death, in this world, even if a full-blown war was to happen between the Nobles and the Commoners, the Nobles would win by a considerable margin.
The other one of group was the dark side of society, the Underworld. They always stayed and fought inside the shadows. One could not recognize the people from the Underworld in the common folks.
The dark side existed everywhere. While the Nobles ruled the people and showed chivalry and mercy, the Underworld coveted everything else.
The Underworld ruled everything that was 'too below for a noble to participate in.' Illegal drugs, smuggling, human trafficking, looting, and much more.
While Nobles tried to get peace and stability between Commoners and control them, the Underworld always caused chaos.
It may look like they were enemies and are meant to destroy each other. But they actually complimented each other; one cannot be stable without the other.
The Underworld caused fear inside the masses, and Nobles used that fear to control them.
But one thing was always shared, they had one target, the common folks. But that doesn't mean that the Nobles and Underworlds didn't clash; they did, and very often. The whole kingdom was tip-toeing on a delicate power balance between light and dark.
This was also the case for Balek Town, this town was also controlled by the two sides, and they were at war with each other.
Although this town looked beautiful, there were so many hidden sides to it that an average person couldn't discover in his whole life.
And as the news of Jake's awakening spread around in the masses, it brought tides between these factions that were at a brutal stalemate. They all needed to have that one push to finally overwhelm the enemy.
Completely disregarding that the person is actually a child, this news brought a stir in these factions.

The Town Lord's mansion was easily the largest and the most beautiful architecture in the whole of Balek Town.
Many servants worked there, while only the Noble Family of Baron Balek lived there. The mansion required tens of people just to clean it and keep it presentable.
Inside the mansion, in a spacious room that can easily be an entire area of a commoner's home, a man in the age of 40s can be seen sitting in luxurious clothes.
He was Baron Robert Balek, people need but one look to recognize him as a noble. He was sitting and doing paperwork inside his room and then.
'Knock~ knock~.'
One of Robert's servants knocked the door of the room.
Robert looked up to the door and allowed the entry of the servant. The servant was an old butler whose hair and mustache was almost white. After a respectful bow, the servant said to the noble.
"Master, I bring news."
"Tell me," the Noble spoke indifferently
"A silver talent is born."
The noble raised his eyebrows at the words of his servant and spoke with a resolute gaze, "Who is it?"
"Jake Hill, the second son of one of the A-rank adventurers Andrew Hill" the Butler replied with a submissive tone.
Robert pondered for a while, then said, "Seal the news, keep it from leaking and keep an eye on the boy."
"What if other parties try to approach him?" Asked the servant
"If they come to kill him, let them. And if the boy willingly agrees, kill him," Robert said again
"Yes, milord"
"Offer him to become our Knight; if he rejects, remove the trace of him," the Noble said and continued his paperwork laid on the table in front of him "you can go."
He said without even bothering to look at the servant.

In a dark alley, a lady donned in a cloak knocked on the door thirteen times with a pattern. She was Lidia, an informant for the Underworld. The door opened with a creak, and she entered it.
As she entered, a strong scent of drugs entered her nose, making her scrunch up her face.
After looking around, six men and a lot of naked women can be seen inside.
A man fucking a bruised woman can be seen on the far right corner.
The man was plowing and punching the woman as he pleased. It didn't take a fool to know all the women in this room were drugged and rap*d.
More than half of the women in this room were lying dead with lifeless bodies, and the other half were not faring any better. They were the reward for the 'heist' the Underworld did recently. They attacked a wandering merchant party that also had some women in them.
The man who was fucking the woman choked her to the point her body became lifeless, and her eyes grew dull. Even after choking the life out of the girl, the man kept going and seemed even more excited.
Averting her eyes from the brutal scene, she looked at the man who sat in the middle of the room, legs wide open with a lady sucking him off.
Sighing, the cloaked lady said to the man. "Barnes, I have some info."
"What is it?" the man who was enjoying throating the lady said
"A silver talent is found."
"Umm~" He shoved his cock all the way into the ladies' throat, not caring about her breathing. As he passed a gold coin to the cloaked lady.
"Lidia, who is it?"
The cloaked lady smiled, and while putting the coin in her pouch, she said. "Second son of Andrew, the A-ranker."
He stood up in joy, allowing the lady to finally gasp, and she held her throat as she was panting on the ground.
"Finally, The tides will turn." He said as he violently picked up the second lady by the hair, bent her over, and started fucking her.

Each of these societies wanted to use the new variable that appeared in the town. Without missing a beat, they all started scheming against Jake, who just wanted to live his life.
What fate has in store for him, only time will tell.
V1 Chapter 7: Training As the information about the Silver talent circulated in the light and dark factions, although they all reacted differently, they all made a common decision. To stop the rumors of Silver talent spread around too much. Nobody wanted a third faction to take advantage of this variable. Although one may believe that in no way would there be a third faction that could even make a dent in their power struggles. But the leaders of these factions believed otherwise. There have been many instances where a third party has taken advantage of their situation. Sometimes they assassinated a major figure, which led to a huge power vacuum. And sometimes sabotaging them both, which led to expensive monetary and personnel losses. Both of the factions weirdly complimented each other. Nobody wanted the third wheel in their toxic relationship. What they didn't know was that a third wheel was already formed even before the news of Jake's Silver talent came out. It was the Guild
V1 Chapter 8: Rising Pressure Jake's life was passing with monotone. He was only focused on becoming stronger, while things around him were in a ripple effect. The dark side was plotting something inconspicuous, and the Baron could not track them at all. Which was a nerve-wracking situation for anyone. People are the most afraid of things they know nothing about. Getting anxious about the current situation, he wanted to send away the irregular variable away from the city. The way the Underworld worked was its strong and weak points at the same. They hid in shadows and attacked in the most unexpected situations. This is where weakness comes in. If they get discovered in between their plans, they will fail miserably. So generally, there is a notion in the Lights faction that the Underworld doesn't attack head-on. Following this concept, Baron was preparing for the departure of Jake away from the city. The Lights faction usually needed a reason to kill or purge anything. They c
V1 Chapter 9: The Offer That night when my dad came back home. We had a family debate about the right decision to take. We all knew that I shouldn't delay this any longer. Any more will strain our relationship with the City Lord. My dad told me that serving the City under Baron Balek would be the best scenario for me right now. Although I will leave the town for more than ten years, ultimately, I will return to the place I ought to serve as a Knight. (I'll be back home again) Considering my father's reputation, I will also be respected and looked upon in this city. His words seemed reasonable, but I was still salty about not being able to explore the world and travel. Still, deep down inside, I knew that this was a decent life anyone would die for in this world. There was also an element in our decision; it was that I had no choice but to accept the offer of Baron Balek. I didn't want to be 'silenced' or, worse, to be sold away and kept involuntarily. Just imagining these s
V1 Chapter 10: Merchant Town Andrew wasn't happy with the treatment Jake was receiving. He had a frown on his face the whole time while the meeting with the Knights was going on. Those Knights acted as if nothing was wrong, but Andrew held onto his suspicions. Something felt wrong; this whole drama of Baron rushing them to make a decision was shady. It looked like they wanted to send Jake far away as soon as possible. (Are they trying to hide something?) Andrew, who grew up in this town, had an idea of the dark faction or the Mafia, as the ordinary citizens called it, but he didn't have a picture of the actual depth of darkness. He could've suspected those people, but he didn't believe that the Baron would run away from those rag-tag rejects of society. It was too unfathomable to imagine that state authorities would fear the criminals. As absurd as it sounds. Still, it created an ink of doubt inside his mind. (What if it's true that there are people who want to capture Jake?)
V1 Chapter 11: Goodbye Spar The day of my departure was just around the corner now. The days which might be the last time I would see my parents passed by in a flash. I'll have to set off for Ethos tomorrow, making me feel empty and sad inside. Although I may have my consciousness of my past life, the bond I have created with my family is special to me now. This is how I wished to live in my previous life, too, with my family. I was sitting in my backyard, gazing up at the sky while my thought was running rampant. A lot has happened in the last five years. (I got the thing that I so yearned for) I lived, ate, and slept with my new family. It was one of the best feelings I got from this life. Maybe this happiness got multiplied by the fact that I lost everyone in my previous life, but I didn't care. My heart, which was numbed before, slowly regained its former form. (Although I still don't feel anything for anyone except my family). But one thing that worries me a little bit is t
V1 Chapter 12: GoodbyesThe town of Balek is a pretty small town in comparison to this world. Some may even say that this town acted like a satellite city for the town of Ishara. There were very few residential buildings in Ishara, so most of the people came to Balek town for residency. This town didn't have many roads and pathways built to connect itself to the major cities of the Etunesian Kingdom, which made it a fair bit of a secluded town, with visitors mainly coming from Ishara.Being a secluded town, this town was relatively quiet and monotonous from the rest of the world. A small town where most of the people knew each other from birth, daily doing the same things for the rest of their lives until they get buried in the same soil. But in recent days, there was a bit of an uproar about a new silver potential born inside this town.Lord of the Town, Robert Balek, had spread this rumor all around the city after Jake agreed to be under their banner.Everybody and their moms were

V1 Chapter 1: PrologueOn a bustling and noisy night in a developed modern city stood a tall building of a multinational corporation. The building, which looked like a small skyscraper, stood there, adding to the city's already beautiful skyline. Many workers and employees were working inside, some minding their own business and some chatting with others. One could hear the sound of repetitive keyboard clicks and soft murmurs almost everywhere.Although the clock was hitting midnight, the atmosphere inside looked like this wasn't the time for the people to return home. Although this one was considered one of the best. This was the situation of any average game development company that ambitiously started a project and forced its employees to complete the work before the announced deadline. The building, which looked quite beautiful and sophisticated from the outside, was anything but that from the inside. Disheveled and depressed faces of people who were working there proved it. If

V1 Chapter 5: A Shocking Surprise[Andrew's POV]I sat inside the Guild after my son went towards the awakening room. I have to admit, awakening is a bit nerve-wracking sensation. (What will he awaken?) Trying to distract myself from my thoughts, I saw two party members approaching me. One is the scout, Claire, and the other is the tank, Chris."Damn, we are late," Claire said when she approached me "couldn't you wait for us? We wanted to meet your son, ya'know" (I bet you overslept)"I told you we were getting late," Chris said, stopping Claire from nagging me more. (Sigh~ This couple stated again…)"Oh yeah! Who was finding his gear till the end of time?" Claire retorted "Shut up! I just forgot where I put my arm protectors," Chris shouted at her (You all are here to meet my son, not fight with each other)I just kept watching them bicker. They did distract me from my thoughts, though. After a while, a guild employee came toward me. "The guild master requests you to come to the o
V1 Chapter 4: Awakening Ceremony Two years have passed since I started swordsmanship training with dad. It was really harsh at first, but then I got addicted to it. It was as if I had found something that was supposed to be mine. If anyone asked me in this world what I like the most, I would answer them Sword and Magic. I was five now, and this was the time of my awakening. To say that I was nervous was just an understatement. I was swinging my sword in the garden. Swords gave me peace of mind; it was like a trance-like state where I could peacefully introspect myself. I always diligently trained under my father. My addiction and the love I cultivated towards swords were part of that motivation. And another part of the reason was that I was horrified. Yes, I was horrified to be a bottom-feeder in this world. I wanted to have choices (What good I would be if I became a failure in this second chance). I wanted to be the owner of my fate, free from burdens. I sometimes overexer
