From her veiw point, Zhi Rou thinks that even if she lets the wraith devourers out now, it would only cause damage to the surroundings rather than her opponent. It was conflicting thing for her, because if the wraith devourers melts the floor with her in it, it may not be able to hurt her, but it sure would make her actions slow down.
