Soon after, we left the bar and began to return back to our dorms.

It was around an hour past midnight, and everywhere was pretty dark, aside from the occasional flashing of street lights.

Everyone was drunk except me, and as we said the goodbyes to the girls, me and Tucker were left alone.

He was struggling to walk very much, and I could see this, so I decided to help him.

I carried him piggyback, and made my way back to the dorm alone.

He fell asleep pretty quickly, and I had to carry him all the way back. Thankfully, I had the strength, and so it wasn’t too much of a hassle.

I was worried that the dorms would be locked, but fortunately, the entrance was open, and soon I found myself outside the door to our room.

I opened the door with my key and turned on the lights.

I placed Tucker on his bed and let him sleep, and then I began to take off my clothes, and retired to my bed.

I took a shower before doing this, and when I was done, I lay face up on my bed, with just my underwear on.

There was also some basic furniture, a bedside table, a chair for visitors, nothing fancy.I looked around and saw all this medical gear around, like heart rate monitors, IV poles, and even a ventilator. There was also the tiny TV mounted on the wall, probably playing some outdated sitcom or daytime talk show. The fluorescent light overhead was like something out of a horror movie, casting its harsh glare over everything. There were also these flimsy curtains you can draw around the bed.As I looked around the room I finally relaxed back on my head, before the realization hit
