Escape!

I woke up with a smashing headache, and I felt terrible.

I tried to move but saw that I was on a bed, and that one of my wrists was handcuffed to it, while the other had a cast on it.

I looked around me and examined the room I was in.

The walls were just plain white, floors too, like something out of a sci-fi movie.

And there was the bed, all crisp white sheets and this thin blanket that barely kept me warm.

There was also some basic furniture, a bedside table, a chair for visitors, nothing fancy.

I looked around and saw all this medical gear around, like heart rate monitors, IV poles, and even a ventilator.

There was also the tiny TV mounted on the wall, probably playing some outdated sitcom or daytime talk show.

The fluorescent light overhead was like something out of a horror movie, casting its harsh glare over everything.

There were also these flimsy curtains you can draw around the bed.

As I looked around the room I finally relaxed back on my head, before the realization hit
