Challenge Accepted

The main reason I came to Columbia university in the first place was to establish connections.

I didn’t need school anymore, and I could drop out at the slightest provocation.

So I had no other option than to accept the offer, and our lecturer was very pleased.

After we both accepted he told us about some minor details that we would need to do.

He gave us some forms to fill, collected some of our personal information and things like that.

Soon we were finished and he dismissed us.

He also collected our contact information and told us that he would be in touch.

We both left the office, and I shut the door quietly behind us.

Before she left, I tried to make some friendly conversation with her.

“Well that was really something huh? I look forward to working with you.” I said and I didn’t get a response, she just stood there, looking away from me. She looked like she was thinking about something.
