The mana slimes started jumping all over the place and continued on spitting acid, but they could not melt Axel's steel string barrier. Then, in an instant, several strings popped out from the ground as Axel's string barrier disappeared.

He then jumped above while controlling the sharpened strings that just came out of the ground. Piercing through the mana slimes' bodies and destroying their mana cores.
