Two Weeks Later

Darkness was a new normal now. It has become a part of me and I, a part of it. Today makes it exactly two weeks of being temporarily blind which has been a hectic, emotional exhaustive one. Thanks to Dora and Damien who are always here to help out whenever I needed one. They made me feel better to an extent. So good people. I was allowed to talk to my brother on several occasions to be assured he's doing very fine. He can walk all by himself now, gained a little more weight and looks much better. He told me all of that himself.

Truth be told, I'm really grateful that Christain helped out in this situation but my ego wouldn't let me appreciate him sincerely. I rolled uneasily on the bed, uncomfortable at my every position. Will I really be able to see after one week and maybe, get justice for myself.
