With no time to waste, they engaged in a fierce battle, using their combined strength and skills to fend off their attackers. When the three women got close enough to the gates, the guards asked them to halt and asked what was their mission. As they all felt relaxed, a soldier suddenly showed up. He told Rowan that there was an emergency, stating that a group of transformed people had broken into the walls of the city.
