Her lie

The silence between the two of them created an atmosphere filled with tension.

Ella held onto the handrest on her wheelchair tightly in reply, “She was….talking about how you are always considerate of the people around you.”

“She complimented you.” the smile on her face wasn’t going to persuade anyone.
