Chapter 29

They all sat on the sandy beach enjoying the sunset. It wasn't until it was completely dark that they returned to the car. Each of them drove the women home, then Aiden and his friends gathered at the cafe where they had met earlier. There, Aiden's servants were still waiting and greeted them respectfully. The servants had just returned from destroying Max's car.

Aiden's three friends got out of the car. They collected the keys and gave them to Aiden. "We're very grateful that you were kind enough to lend us the car."

Aiden handed the keys back to them. Suddenly, their brows furrowed in confusion. Aiden tapped them lightly on the shoulder. "The car is for you guys because all this time, you've been good to me. You've always been by my side, no matter what. Consider it a token of my gratitude, even though it's not enough to repay all your kindnesses over the years."
