Chapter 2

Fanny was in a relationship with Frederick when Bjorn announced she was marrying Julian, a man with nothing. Cindy and Fanny immediately opposed it vehemently. However, Bjorn threatened to banish them if Fanny did not marry Julian. But no one can go against Bjorn's wishes.

It was very scary for both of them. They were both not used to earning money and were always dependent on others. Fanny was forced to accept it because Frederick also couldn't block Bjorn. Although Fanny was married to Julian, she still had a relationship with Frederick. She would have secret meetings and so on.

"Frederick has proposed to me." Fanny raised her hand proudly. She showed off the diamond ring she never got from Julian on her finger. She didn't care that she was married. The Murphy family supported her in throwing away the useless Julian.

"I'm getting married to Frederick in a month, and it will be a lavish wedding."

"Of course, dear. It'll be a very lavish wedding. I'll make her look like a queen."

Fanny had envisioned something extraordinary for her wedding. And she didn't get that at her wedding with Julian. They only got married in the civil registry, and according to Fanny, her grandfather punished and hated her then.

The Murphy family looked down on Julian. Today they would kick him out and never see the face of that lowly man again. The bastard that embarrassed them is now replaced with a better son-in-law.

"Fanny! That's impossible! You are my wife!"

Julian shouted loudly. He looked at Fanny, who stared at him sharply like an enemy. Julian's shout attracted the attention of the people attending this party. Although not many, those who attended this party were people who worked with the Murphy family.

"You crazy guy! You don't know any manners for yelling at someone else's party!" Julian's hand was pulled by Cindy.

People whispered about Fanny's marriage to Julian. It was a big story because it became a shameful disgrace in the Murphy family.

"He's that poor, useless guy, isn't he? How dare he speak?" the female guest spoke while looking down on Julian. She didn't like the cheaply dressed Julian.

"That's right. I would have thrown him out long ago if I had such a son-in-law. He's so useless and embarrassing."

People laughed at the big old lady's words. They didn't think what Fanny did was wrong. They thought Julian was ignorant and embarrassing. People of low level should know themselves. Don't fantasize about being next to Fanny.

Julian held Cindy's hand. He stared with eyes that looked pitiful. "Mom, she is my wife, and I won't let her marry someone else."

Cindy immediately slammed Julian's hand away. She looked at Julian with disgust. She took a handkerchief and wiped her hands repeatedly. "I have always disliked you. Fortunately, my daughter will marry Frederick, who is much richer and better than you. You don't deserve to be Fanny's husband!"

"Of course, he doesn't deserve to be Fanny's husband, Auntie. Until now, he has only been a nuisance. His clothes are also very ugly. He's a disgrace!" Anne joined in Julian's mockery. She was happy that Julian was being patronized.

Julian turned around. He looked at Fanny. He was trying to climb the stairs.

"Fanny, I'm your husband. You brought me here to introduce me to everyone that I'm your husband, right?" Julian tried to remind Fanny of herself. Pointing to himself, he hoped that Fanny would run to him and tell him he was her husband.

Fanny burst out laughing. Beside her, Frederick also laughed with Fanny. The hall was filled with the sound of laughter mocking Julian.

"I'm introducing you as my husband!? Don't dream!" Fanny shouted. She didn't want to be insulted anymore. This was her way of changing her useless husband.

She had been looking forward to this moment. The Murphy family was fairly wealthy and respected in Newcity, so it was natural for her to marry a great and wealthy man, and it wasn't Julian.

"I disliked you from the start. You're a disgrace to me, and I'm already pregnant with Frederick's child."

Fanny smiled. She kissed Frederick on the lips in front of Julian. They both smiled as Frederick's hand rubbed Fanny's stomach.

"Wh-what do you mean, Fanny?" Julian froze. This must be a mishearing. He had never even touched Fanny, they slept separately, and another man had gotten her pregnant.

"I'm pregnant with Frederick's child. That's why I'm going to marry him. Grandfather is no longer in this world either. You won't be able to snitch on him."

"Fanny! I'm still your husband! You're having a child with another man."

"This bastard!" Frederick came forward, holding Julian firmly by the collar. "You're the one who destroyed our relationship! She was mine from the start, and you must now leave! You're an ignorant rascal who can't pamper Fanny! Even trash is more valuable than you!"

Julian was angry. This damn man touched his wife, and now he was to blame. "You're the one who doesn't know yourself. You are a despicable human being!" Julian pushed Frederick's body hard. He tried to hit Frederick's face, but Frederick quickly dodged.

"Frederick!" Fanny shouted. She didn't want Frederick to get hurt.

"Call the bodyguards!" Cindy shouted loudly.

Soon several bodyguards arrived. They held both hands of, Julian, who was still struggling to return his fist to Frederick.

"You should be ashamed of touching another man's wife!"

"You useless man! I never thought of you as my husband in the first place!"

Fanny slapped Julian's cheek until Julian fell silent. He looked at Fanny, who held Frederick's hand tightly in front of him.

"You're a loser! A lowly man who was picked up by grandfather just for saving him!" Fanny paused to catch her breath. "I hate you so much! You only bring me shame by marrying a poor man like you! My life is miserable!"

She treated Julian coldly even though Julian treated her warmly. The ignorant man in front of her expects to have a good relationship with her, which is nonsense.

"I am unclean to have a husband like you!" Fanny slapped him once more, then turned to leave the place.

"Fanny!" Julian called out repeatedly, but Fanny didn't stop to look at him.

"Drag him out! This beggar doesn't belong here!" Cindy gave orders to the bodyguards, who immediately dragged Julian roughly.

He was thrown out of the hotel with his clothes crumpled. Julian's thoughts today were completely wrong. He thought his married life would be fine, but he came here just to be humiliated and hear his wife's wedding announcement.

Julian weakly walked in the direction of his motorcycle. Beside his motorcycle, he saw a man standing and immediately bowed to him.

"Young master, I came to see you."

The 50-year-old bowed respectfully to Julian, who stared at him expressionlessly.
