Chapter 8. 100 bottles of the most expensive drink!

      Liam didn't feel disappointed anymore. He was slowly getting used to this, and at this point, it only dawned on him the kind of person his ex was. He sighed and finally decided to take a seat to put all his thoughts together. 

As he sat down calmly, he seized himself up and down but actually, he was satisfied with his look. He believed he didn't have to show a flashy look, before his worth could be revealed. 

Just then, as he was thinking, the bar door clicked open and his coursemates in the college, started walking in, filling the bar at the same time. 

From their looks, it was evident they were all doing well, and appearing graceful and honorable as ever!

They stormed in, with their expensive outfits, shoes, bags, watch, looks, and so on, with satisfied cool look all plastered on their faces. Some of them even came with their lovers. 

But as expected, none of them talked to Liam or even greeted him. They all ignored him like he didn't exist and just focused on others. Evidently, hostility could be perceived in the air.  

Liam just stared at them, he was also prepared and acted as if they were also nothing. 

At the same time, Liam's friend who called him earlier, Jasper, also appeared and quickly ambled to meet him. He noticed all these, and he felt sad for his best friend. He thought Liam deserved more than this, but he could get that their coursemates were all jealous of Liam's title! 

" Liam! Oh, am I glad you came. " Jasper strolled to meet him and sat beside him immediately, passing Liam a cool drink. " I hope you don't mind their piggy glares?" He laughed and teased him. 

Liam faced him and relaxed even more. " Them? Who are them?" He put on an indifferent look as he arched one of his brows. 

He was also glad to see his friend again after few months of graduating. 

Jasper was immediately pleased, and he laughed out happily. " Good one dude, good one!" He exclaimed and immediately gulped a glass of strong wine. 

" Don't worry, I know they are just envious and annoyed that you are the best graduating student, and you were able to date the most beautiful lady in the college back then!" 

Hearing this, Liam's elated face instantly masked down, and he cast a side glance towards Jasper, who was blabbering non stop! 

Jasper's voice was loud enough for the other mates to hear and even Beverly herself.

This was when the other mates looked at Beverly and noticed she was clinging unto another man's arm, which was quite intimate. This could only means one thing..... 

Quickly, some of the mates grinned inwardly and strolled to where Liam and Jasper were sitting. 

" Liam, do you mind if we ask why Beverly is with another man right now?" One of them asked unceremoniously, with a shrew smile. 

" Yes Liam, it's so strange to see Beverly clinging to someone else instead of you."  

They were trying to bombard Liam with sensitive questions, appearing as if they care, but they only wanted to see Liam's embarrassed face. And possibly humiliate him the more. 

This was when Jasper also noticed something was odd, and he glanced towards the direction of where Beverly was. 

Swiftly, his eyes darkened, and he placed down the empty glass of wine he was holding. Seeing that, he could only guess one thing, and he stood up, feeling enraged! 

" Beverly, what are you doing?!" He questioned her in an audacious tone, his eyes glaring at her. 

" Don't you dare glare at my woman!" Max howled, warning Jasper seriously with a cold look. 

Beverly even clung unto Max's arm the more and raised her brows, with a twisted lips. " What does it seems like I am doing?" 

Jasper's face flushed, as blood surged more into his face, and he balled his fists! 

" Shut up!" He snapped angrily and let out a hiss with annoyance. " You are a bitch, Beverly! Nothing but a bloody slut! How could you do this?! Liam spent a lots on you, try to make you happy in every possible way and was ready to do anything! Do you even know you are the reason why he is more like this?!"

Max stepped forward after Jasper's furious outburst ,but Beverly held him back. 

" Don't mind him. He is just pained." She said coquettishly. 

Then, she cast a cold look at Jasper, her lips twitching. 

" Liam is a total jerk. A failure and all. He is jobless, worthless, useless, futureless, and a foolish loser." She spat at him in a sharp voice, laced with nothing with arrogance. " So tell me, what's the bad thing in finding a better nice man?" 

The college mates, who heard all this couldn't help but mocked Liam, pointing their fingers to him! It was obvious, this was what they were expecting, and they all agreed with Beverly. 

" Of course! Apart from the title of the best graduating student, what else can he claim? He is as useless as a piece of trash!" 

" So what if he is the best graduating student, does that take him to anywhere? He is still a jobless fool, that wanders around with no hope of a better future!" 

" I can proudly say some people will die without a better life!" 

" No job, no good life, no better future, no money, no lady, what kind of life is that??" 

While Jasper was still fuming over this, Liam just crossed one leg over the other and sneered. Though, he was also enraged, but he bottled it up and maintained a calm eyes. 

He now knew the kind of people his coursemates were. They were people who were envious of the outstanding people but still mocked the poor ones! How twisted! 

All of a sudden, his voice rang out, deeper, and colder than before, and it towered over them, silencing them instantly! 

" Waiter!" He called and signaled to Sarah, who was still hanging at a corner. 

No one knew how, but they all maintained a decorum upon Liam's strong voice, and Sarah rushed forward. 

The same time, Liam brought out his black golden card and threw it at Sarah! 

" I want to buy hundred bottles of the most expensive drink right now!"
