Chapter 269

Michael and Marcus had finally gotten to a restaurant after a long drive back to the city. “Here?” Marcus didn’t seem pleased about the placer.

“This place is great when it comes to their drinks, let’s give it a try and rank me later.” Michael urged him.

“Sure, you’re never wrong in such judgment,” Marcus said with a convinced tone and made his way inside with Michael, he had a little smile curbed on his lips happy that after a long time, he was finally going to be spending some time with Michael. They took their seat and finally decided to take some wine instead of tea as they talked to one another.

“So are you still married? I had heard earlier that you had married and it was such a shame that I hadn’t attended the wedding.” Marcus stated leaning back on the chair as he took a sip of the wine.

“I’m divorced,” Michael replied simply without going into more details as he stared at his friend.
