Alice and Lucy had finally gotten into the room, she gently helped her daughter to the bed and took of her shoes while laying her gently on the bed.

“Why don’t we go home instead mom?” Lucy slurred staring at her mother although her vision was hazy she could still see her.

“That would be a hassle, let’s just stay here for the night, besides Mr Green offered that we stay, it would be rude if we declined his offer.” Sje convinced Lucy who hummed and nodded her head.

“Please can you pass me some water? My throat is dry.” She tells her mother while gently stroking her neck.

“How is she doing?” He asked referring to Lucy.

“I’m going to go get her some water, she has a soar throat.” Alice quickly said with a smile attached to her lips as she gazed at the young man. “Or perhaps getting juice would be better.”
