CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

Lisa left the police station and headed to The Del Monte’s estate, to see Pedro. At this point she did not know what else to do, to salvage the situation. She just went over there, hoping to get something done.

“Ma’am, hold on a minute. Sorry, I can’t let you go in”.

The estate security, spread his arms wide open, preventing Lisa from going into the estate. She had arrived the estate, all frustrated and was about storming into the estate, but was stopped at the gate by the estate security.

“Let me go through now!”

She exclaimed in anger. Her hair pin had even fallen off, making her hair look unkept, as it was not packed. She looked like a psychopath who was about causing trouble.

“Go tell your boss, Pedro, I am here to see him”.

She said to the estate security, breathing heavily.

“Oh ma’am, apologies, but that is impossible”

He replied her.

“And why impossible, if I may ask? Let me guess; he has asked you, not to let me in”.

She said to the estate security, with a sinister smile
