Chapter 43: The caring Harlan Smith

"Have a nice day," the lecturer turned off the microphone and walked out the hall. The murmuring that had been going on in the hall didn't stop after the man left, rather it increased.

Harlan wrote the last few sentences he had in mind to write. He was almost done writing it when he felt that someone was sitting beside him. He was the only one in the front seat since he had been termed a thief and he loved the fact that he was sitting alone.

He raised his head to look at the person but wasn't surprised to see Tracy sitting there. He decided to ignore him and continue what he was writing.

"How was the class?" Harlan heard Tracy asked, but he didn't answer.

Tracy cleared his throat and sat closer to Harlan.

"This is one of the subjects I find boring. The man is quite boring too. A boring man teaching a boring subject," Tracy tried again to get Harlan in a conversation.

Harlan still didn't say anything
