It wasn't intentional.

Mona sat glued to the couch she was sitting on in Brandley's office, her eyes roaming about the space except for Brandley's eyes. The look in his eyes gave her cold shivers. Whatever that is coming out from his mouth next won't be a good one.

Maybe she should have fucking head home instead of lurking around here. She should have gone to meet Ariel instead of deciding to end up with her. Serves her right!

Her eyes landed on the blue heels she was wearing, fidgeting with her fingers.

"Why did you do it? I trusted you enough to start working because I don't want to look commanding to you and the least you could do was to play safe," Brandley said, running a hand through his brown hair.

Mona was lost at what he was saying, she didn't remember going against the moral standard at her place of work. Where's all these words coming from?

"I don't understand what you are pissed at and also what you are talking about" Mona said meeting his gaze.
