She quickly averted her gaze. Luna had planned to come to the occasion solely for the purpose of being of as much help to Arthur as she could to express her gratitude.

And while it was an occasion hosted by both the Burton and William’s family, she had hoped she would have no run in with anyone from the Burton family.

Luna even went out of her way to first observe the host family’s movements through the crowd before moving herself, consciously avoiding them.

But her actions were all in vain as Jon Burton approached angrily after setting his eyes on her.

Stepping back in fear, Luna didn’t notice the waiters that moved behind her carrying a large antique vase.

The vase fell to the ground with a loud crash and scattered into a hundred pieces, catching the attention of everyone present.

The waiters looked from the destroyed antique to the bewildered Luna with a shocked expression.
