2. Turning Point

Two years later.

Blue opened his eyes, and once again he was in a place he didn't recognize. The tall and wide rice fields around him made it hard for him to see around. Blue stood with a blank look in his eyes.

Walk across the length of the rice plants, and come to a path. He wiped away his tears and continued walking. Just then, a middle-aged man reprimanded him.

"Hey, what were you doing in my rice field just now!?" The man was angry and looked at blue with an annoyed look.

Blue didn't respond and kept walking. The scorching sun from above did not stop Blue from walking up the path. Blue's mind was in a complete mess at this point. The faces of Raguel, Eight, and their mother continue to haunt Blue.

He kept walking away Until at one point he fell and was unconscious. Although a long time had passed since the extermination of the Sky Dragon Tribe village, for Blue it had just happened. The transfer process takes a lot of time because it was done in a rush by Viktor. After all, Forbidden Magic was extremely difficult to perform.

...

An adventurer found Blue lying on the deserted path, and took him with him.

Blue slowly opened his eyes, and saw a man sharpening the sword he was holding. The man continued to rub the blade against the whetstone, and the sound annoyed Blue.

Blue got up from his sleeping position, and stood up with a wistful gaze he stared at the man.

"Sit down first, you look tired" The man let out a soft deep voice. Blue sat back down without saying anything.

"Forgive me for interfering, but I saw you lying on the street so I took you."

Blue was still silent, his eyes still glazed over. The man understood that Blue had just had a bitter experience, so he decided not to continue asking.

"Oh, it's time. I have to go to the tower..." The man put Asahan into his small bag and stood ready.

"If you have nowhere to go, come with me" The man looked at Blue with pity. The wind began to blow westward followed by birds also heading in the same direction.

Because blue didn't answer, the man then got up and started walking eastward. However, Blue unexpectedly stood up and followed behind him. I don't know if it was his survival instinct, or if Blue actually accepted his invitation.

The man looked back, then back to the front and smiled softly. Blue was still deep in thought. He walked and walked after the man.

Arriving at a crossroads, Blue stares ahead, a tower whose tip can't even be seen, plastered in the distance. It brought him to tears. And because of that too, Blue was able to regain consciousness, and once again look at the world.

...

After the trip, the man invites Blue to eat some food at a diner. Blue nodded and followed him. Inside the tavern, there were many people who were also adventurers.

The adventurers in question were the people who climbed the tower. With various backgrounds and goals. Blue and the Man sat at an empty table. Meanwhile, small whispers started to sound.

"Who is he... this is the first time I see him here"

"What's a new adventurer?"

The man ordered food for two and waited. Blue looked around, noticing every little detail in the room. He seemed to be wanting to commit a crime from his movements, and made some people misunderstand.

Blue then held his forehead and found, a cloth tied around his forehead. He then looked at the man sitting in front of him. The man smiled.

"Your horns are a bit conspicuous here so I covered them with a cloth" The man said.

"You look better now"

"What's your name son?"

"Blue" Blue answered quietly. Not long after, a female waitress came to bring two servings of food to the table for both of them.

The man took a spoon and started eating the food that had just arrived. So did Blue, although at first he was still doubtful.

After eating his food for a while. Blue and the Man came out of the tavern. The man gave some coins to Blue.

"Use this, to buy your needs, right now I have to go up to the tower" The man smiled at Blue.

"Fine thanks" Blue bowed his head.

The man left Blue and headed towards the tower. Blue clenched his fists. Little remembering the death of his family he was completely filled with ambition for revenge.

Blue had actually decided to climb the tower, but he didn't tell the man because he had to do it himself.

Blue, who is a person who controls mana controlling, knows very well that this man is a strong person, almost as strong as his grandfather.

...

After thinking for a while, Blue decided to buy clothes, because the clothes he wore before were those of the Celestial Dragonman tribe. That would keep him from the eyes of the gods even more.

After buying clothes, he walked towards the tower. Along the way, Blue thinks and tries to solve the puzzles left in his brain.

Questions like What made the gods exterminate the Sky Dragon-human tribe keep popping up in his head. As far as he knew, the Sky Dragon Tribe had no enemies, even getting along well with the Spire-dwelling Tribe.

And another question is, was it only the Celestial Dragonman tribe that was exterminated, or did all the tribes at the top of the tower experience the same thing.

But above all, Blue must get stronger, to be able to avenge him. And it all started in the tower right in front of Blue.

Blue smoothed his headband so his horns wouldn't show, and walked into the tower. Bright light shone around him the moment he set foot on the tower gate. And suddenly the surroundings changed.

[Welcome To Floor 1]

A notification appeared before his eyes, which made blue slightly surprised. He looked around, and this place looked very lively.

The first floor of the tower was the neutral floor, where rookie adventurers usually hunted. The monsters that existed were also much weaker.

"Grandfather once told me about this System"

"All adventurers inside the tower are managed by the system"

"Show status"

[Blue]

[Lv: 1]

In the end, he was still level one. That's because the system will automatically give level one to people who are entering the tower for the first time.
