3. Guide For The Beginners

Blue walked through the city on the bustling first floor. Adventurers each have their own group. Blue also realized something as he entered the tower.

In order to advance to the second floor, he needed to challenge the Boss of the first floor. But he didn't want to rush and only watched the movements of the other adventurers. Blue's main goal is to get stronger. so for now he decided to understand the tower system first.

Apart from that, there are several features in the tower that Blue is interested in. When someone reaches level 5 in the tower, a Class will be unlocked. Each class will be different from other adventurers. So, one could say that class is the potential of the adventurer itself.

And to raise his level to level 5, he followed the adventurers who had just entered the tower. Beginner adventurers can use the services of a guide to make it easier for them to level up.

Guides are generally people who have experience climbing the tower. usually they stay on the first floor and choose to do guide business rather than risk their lives climbing the tower.

In the end, Blue arrived at the building which was the place to hire guides. The building doesn't look big and it doesn't look small either. With a plate that read Beginner's building, Blue entered the building.

Inside there were already many novice adventurers gathered. Some have started chatting with a guide. Blue noticed the interior of the room which looked quite complicated. And a moment later, a guide came over to Blue.

"Are you looking for a guide?" A smiling woman with both hands holding her waist. The woman looked experienced, with the full equipment she was wearing. two daggers on either side of his feet, as well as nice-looking clothes.

"Yeah, I don't know the terrain in this place to raise my level." Blue held his forehead and slightly avoided eye contact.

"Fine, then I can be your guide, My fee is only 30 silver once rent" The woman let out a smile. The woman explains her experience in the tower to get Blue's attention.

With the remaining coins given by the previous man, he accepted the woman's offer. The woman's name was Kelly. Kelly asked Blue some things related to the tower. and even though only a little, he answered according to what his grandfather told him when he was little.

"Okay, for starters, Hmmm, we should hunt green frogs which are easy to hunt and give decent experience." The woman held her chin and walked out of the building. Blue followed closely behind.

On the way, Kelly talked a lot about her experience climbing the tower, even though she is currently a guide, Kelly is still actively climbing the tower, and currently she has reached the 13th floor. And is already at level 43.

Where such accomplishments were already considered something great for ordinary rookie adventurers. But Blue looks normal because he doesn't really know about towers.

"Ah, I just remembered, do you have a weapon with you?"

"Not"

Kelly seemed to pat his forehead and began to sigh.

"Hmm, there are indeed many beginners who are not prepared"

"Shall we buy equipment first?"

Blue agreed and followed Kelly to a blacksmith. Small huts that contain various kinds of weapons look neatly lined up. Kelly looked around and selected some For Blue equipment.

Blue took out the rest of the coins that were left in his pocket. And in the end could only buy a small sword. Even though Blue didn't even feel the need to use a weapon, but because of coercion from Kelly he finally bought the sword.

A few moments later, they arrived at a swamp. And some green frogs seen in that place. Kelly tells Blue about frogs' weaknesses and how to make it easier to hunt them.

A guide can only assist in giving directions to novice adventurers. Newbie adventurers simply followed what the guide told them to kill the monsters. so that adventurers get more exp.

The Green Frog is one of the monsters on the first floor. Its long tongue is capable of delivering long range attacks. However, its slow attacks and easily penetrated skin with weapons, become its biggest weakness.

Blue held his small sword and slowly approached one of the green frogs. The frog immediately became alert and stuck out its tongue to attack Blue. Blue then drained his sword's mana while dodging the green Frog's attack.

Blue jumped at the green Frog and slashed at him like tofu. That he did with other green frogs. This astonished Kelly.

"Eh, are you tricking me" Kelly looked angry and pointed her finger at Blue. Blue's ability is one he has learned over the years. Even when he was level one, he could still control his mana and his swordsmanship was still ingrained in his mind.

"Fool? why?" Blue with a flat face. His mind again turned to the heartbreaking incident before. Blue showed Kelly his level. And sure enough, Blue was still level 1 right now. Although he was a little closer to level 2. He had already killed four green frogs and according to his estimation, one more frog could make him good to level 2.

Kelly, however, has to believe in that, even though she sees Blue's abilities, which are far from beginners. It was impossible to falsify one's level.

'Who is this person?, Is he from a big family?' thought kelly.

Blue found a bunch of frogs and did the same thing over and over again. after a long time of hunting, Blue will level up by a little more. Kelly in the end only pays attention to Blue who is hunting.

'Besides, why did he need a guide from the start if he's already this strong' thought Kelly.

"Hey Guide, I haven't even leveled up to 5 and the latches are already gone, how about this?" Blue rubbed the mud off his face.

"Yeah, you're right, why are only a few green frogs showing up? Usually green frogs are scattered a lot in this swamp" Kelly was confused and held her chin.

Green Frogs usually appear in swamps and live in groups. Kelly felt there was something strange about this, so she looked around to see if it was true that there were no green frogs or vice versa.

But sure enough, the green frogs didn't show up anymore, indeed Blue killed a lot of green frogs, but that still wasn't comparable to the number of green frogs that usually appeared in the swamp.

Kelly suddenly remembered something and shouted at Blue.

"Get out of the swamp now!" With a loud voice he gave the order for blue to get out of the swamp. But before Blue could respond, a giant snake appeared from under the swamp.

"Field Boss!!, How did it appear now!?" Kelly panicked.

A giant snake was right in front of Blue. Blue just paused and stared at the snake for a moment.
