9. Finding Lost Member

"Huh.. what are you bringing outsiders for?" A man with a large build was annoyed at Qier.

"Yeah yeah, calm down first, he's my friend" Qier looked like he was trying to calm the big man down.

"Joel, been missing and not back for a week, and you want to add more trouble"

"Hey stop it, if the young master says he is coming with us, then he will come." A man with round glasses held the big man's shoulder.

"Joel's problem, we'll look for it together"

The big man was named Tom, and the bespectacled man was called Hon. They are twins, although they are far from similar.

There was also a woman who was playing with a cat in the corner of the room named Finia. Also the last member was Joel who was not there.

While Blue waited outside the room. Currently they were in an inn that seemed to belong to the group Qier was referring to. Blue looked around and looked out the window.

Just like on the 1st floor, the 2nd floor also has a city that is also busy with adventurers. The only difference is that the authority is held by the guilds and no longer guides, because on the 2nd floor there are no guides anymore.

Qier and the others came out of the room and approached Blue. Blue was a bit intimidated by Tom's irritated look. Qier smiled and gave Blue a thumbs up.

Blue smiled uncomfortably, while the Cat in Finia's arms jumped onto Blue's shoulder and fell asleep. Finia's face was full of irritation occasionally biting her clothes.

"You don't know each other yet do you?" Qier introduced them one by one.

"Blue for today we will rest, and tomorrow we will look for our missing members somewhere" Qier smiled then showed an irritated face at the end.

Blue got a special room for him to rest. Blue felt that joining Qier's team would benefit him a lot. Besides being able to challenge the boss of the 2nd floor, he could also get closer to the Einstein family, at least that's what he thought.

The next day.

It was morning and the sun was shining across the room through the window. Blue got up from his bed and as usual went into the bathroom and cleaned himself. she takes off her headband and sees her reflection in the stagnant water.

He stared with a sad look, after a while there was a knock from outside the room. Blue hurriedly tied the cloth back on his forehead then opened the door.

Qier stood in front of the door and when Blue opened the door Qier asked Blue to buy new equipment because the previous equipment was half broken.

After a while buying new equipment they then gathered with the others at a diner.

"Before we go, it's best to fill up the stomach first" Qier walked in and joined the group followed by Blue who also joined.

They ate very voraciously, and after that they prepared to look for one of their members who had gone somewhere.

"The first place we will explore is somewhere called Liscie Jungle"

"That is the place where we usually hunt, he might be there" Hon explained to his group.

Blue, who didn't know the places inside the tower, just nodded. With a cat on his head.

They then departed and headed for the Liscie Jungle west of town. Their journey took 2 hours until they finally arrived at the place he meant.

They enter the place. The grasshopper monsters were all around them, killing the grasshopper monsters so they could go deeper into the forest.

Tom has strong fists and fast movements, making him able to defeat the grasshopper monster easily. Hon, although not as strong as his twin brother, his strategy was so precise that it made the group clear their way easily.

While Finia was a person capable of casting magic, the heavy damage from her magic certainly made their hunting speed increase.

While Blue and Qier only handled the rest of the rest. Deep in the woods, there was absolutely no sign of Joel. According to Hon's narrative, Joel is not a weak person, even though he is stubborn he is also strong.

So, Hon interprets Joel as possibly facing greater danger than imagined. After a long and thorough search of the Forest, there was no sign of Joel.

"Where's the damn Joel?" Tom was getting annoyed.

Since there was no sign, they decided to go to the next place. A place called Wonder Cave which is not far from this forest.

Arriving at the Wonder Cave.

A large cave that looks scary from the outside. we can't even see what's inside from the outside.

"This cave does look scary... But the monsters inside aren't that strong" Hon explained it to Blue and Qier who were here for the first time.

They then entered inside, the cave was so silent that only the sound of their footsteps and dripping water could be heard. Led by Hon, they continued walking down the cave.

And a group of white bats suddenly attacked them. White bats are territorial type monsters, so when a threat enters their territory they will immediately attack. Also white bats, basically dark in color, but when they are angry, they will turn white.

And thanks to that, white bats are also easily defeated. With Finie's fire Magic, they could see inside the cave. But unlike the previous forest, in this cave there are signs of new hunting.

"Looks like Joel has been hunting around here, at least two days ago" Hon held the stone wall of the cave which had dried white Bat blood on it.

"It's very rare for other adventurers to hunt in this cave because it looks scary, so it must be Joel" Tom confirmed.

"Then what are we going to do now?" Qier asked.

Hon looked around and decided to enter and explore the cave. The five of them went deeper into the cave. Even though they were attacked several times by the White Bats, the five of them were easily overcome.

But even after they searched the entire cave, they couldn't find any other sign.

"looks like we have to go to the last place, if Joel is still not there then it might be very difficult to find him due to lack of clues"

"After all, why did he go hunting alone .." Tom With an annoyed tone.

"That's because you don't want to accompany him" Hon scolded Tom.

The next place is Frozen mountain, which is a bit far from Wonder Cave. This place was a place that Hon and the others often went to hunt. Even though it was called a Mountain, it was more like a steep ravine.

After quite a long Journey, they arrived at Frozen Mountain. A steep frozen abyss appeared before their eyes. There is a ladder that leads down to the bottom of the ravine. It was at the bottom of the ravine that many monsters such as ice crabs and polar bears were used to hunt them.

They went down the stairs, but after passing a few steps, they saw something reflecting light.

"What's that?" Finia narrowed her eyes to see more clearly.

Blue was surprised, and came back to confirm and sure enough Blue had a hunch, it was the same barrier as when he was fighting the anaconda.

"It's a barrier!" Hon panic.

"Looks like a Field Boss appeared at the bottom of the ravine, and since the barrier is active, it means someone down there is trapped" Hon explained as he ran down the stairs.
