8. An Offer From The Man

A while later, there were only five Adventurers left including Blue, Arthur and the man. The goblin also looked completely unharmed. This made Blue think hard.

"Hey, can't you attack him" Arthur asked the person. While enduring the Goblin's powerful attack. Occasionally dodge.

"No, for now I can't" The person replied in a tired tone. Currently that person could only dodge attacks from the goblins.

Blue tried to attack by flowing mana into his sword and zig zagging forward to avoid the goblin's attack and made it to the goblin's front.

He managed to launch a slash and make a wound on the Goblin's body then retreated back. Blue realized that while the goblin's attacks were powerful, their defenses were completely non-existent. Even Blue easily injured the goblin's body.

"Josh!" Arthur glanced at one of the surviving adventurers. Josh ran and dodged the goblin's attack and thrust his spear forward, that also dealt a lot of damage to the goblin.

But after receiving the attack, the Goblin became even more aggressive. He threw his club away faster than before. The other adventurers besides Blue, Josh and Arthur were forced to stay away because they thought it was impossible to avoid the swift attack.

Blue and Josh were still able to avoid attacks from the Goblins even though they had a little difficulty. While Arthur with the strength of his body, parried the Goblin's attack with the shield in his left hand.

"Unlike before, now the skin can be penetrated easily!" Josh spoke in a high pitched voice.

'Damn, if I keep using mana, my energy will run out' Blue thought to himself while dodging the Goblin's continuous attacks.

"Can't we do anything?" an adventurer asked the man. The man looked at his system screen and saw a pocket watch on his arm.

"No, we can't do anything" The person replied with a worried face. He used too many of his skills against the Gnolls so that for now he can no longer use them.

Blue, arthur and josh who were trying to fight the goblins looked overwhelmed, the goblins kept swinging their club fast and strong, making it difficult for them to get close and attack.

"I'll distract him, you guys attack from behind!" Arthur pressed his shield to the floor and activated a skill.

"Agro Rock!" His shield glowed and made the goblins attack him repeatedly. Even so, it was still a dangerous thing. Enduring all the attacks from the goblins continuously would endanger his life. because of that he didn't use his skill before.

However, seeing Blue and Josh's ability to launch attacks, he trusted them to end it. Blue rolled down the goblin's legs backwards, as did Josh who jumped aside and prepared to launch an attack.

Blue channeled mana into his blade once again and attacked the Goblin's leg. The goblin fell to its knees but still made an attack on Arthur.

"Hurry, I won't...be able to last long!"

Josh used his skill and took a stance and threw his Spear right at the head of the goblin leader. The spear pierced the Goblin's head.

"Spear Glide!"

At the same time, Arthur was no longer able to withstand the Goblin's attacks and was blown away against the wall of a corner of the room. The goblin then turned around and intended to attack the unarmed Josh with his club.

"Shit, didn't he die with that attack yet!?" Josh panicked.

As soon as Blue had jumped into the air right above the Goblin's head, he spun around and without using any mana, swung his sword in the direction of the rotation of his body. The attack instantly decapitated the Goblin.

Goblin fell along with Blue who also fell to the floor.

'Even though I intended to use mana, but apparently this is my limit huh' Blue said to himself.

A system screen popped up from above the heads of each of the surviving adventurers.

There was silence for a moment, and they screamed happily after.

Arthur was seriously injured, but luckily he survived. While Blue, and Josh sat on the floor because of exhaustion. The others helped Arthur who had difficulty standing.

'10 points!!?' Blue was surprised to see that, even when he defeated Anaconda his stats only increased by 1 point. Not to mention, he got a new Skill because he succeeded in conquering for the first time, after getting the Class Conquer.

A large gate appeared from the center of the room. Josh stood up and opened the gate.

But when they arrived on the 2nd floor, they were greeted by many people. Several groups were seen setting up tents around the gate leading to the 2nd floor.

Basically, the 2nd Floor was the most commonly used place for guilds to recruit their new members, because one who managed to conquer the first floor, quality was guaranteed.

The gazes of the people around started to fall on the five of them. They weren't even given a break and the Adventurers had already gathered around him. Offers from various guilds started to arrive.

Arthur received an offer from one of the strongest guilds in the tower, Black Storm. Which of course he accepted, while the others got offers from mid-level guilds.

Josh and Adan also received an offer from a guild, while Blue and Qier rejected the guild's offer.

After a long time, the adventurers who had intended to recruit were no longer there, Arthur, Josh and Adan also joined the ones who had recruited them. While Blue and Qier were still standing in front of the gate.

"So your name is Qier huh" Blue looked at Qier.

"Yes, nice to meet you Blue" Qier extended his hand for a handshake. And greeted by Blue.

"Why did you reject the guild guild's offer earlier?" Qier diverted the conversation. Blue was quite confused at first but he understood that it was something he couldn't talk about, just like he also had many secrets.

"You know, without a Guild you'd have a hard time challenging the boss of the 2nd floor."

"Uh, what do you mean?"

"Well, unlike the first floor which gathers adventurers to challenge the floor boss, the 2nd floor will have a hard time getting adventurers to challenge without their guild"

"So in essence, adventurers generally challenge the 2nd floor boss together with their guild members."

"And as long as the members' levels are met, even adventurers who are challenging the upper floors can help on the 2nd floor." Qier smiled at Blue.

Blue looked at Qier With a happy face and accepted the offer.
