Chapter 106. A Clash

"Are you threatening me?" Ravenna asked on the phone, trying hard not to lose it as she stood in front of the pool in Damian's mansion.

"Of course not. How would I dare? You keep putting off our meeting. I find it infuriating, like you're trying to pick a fight," the other person on the line said as Ravenna closed her eyes for a while. This bastard can't ruin everything for her now. She will never let it happen.

"Ravenna?" A familiar voice called from behind, and Ravenna turned around to find Damian dressed in a white shirt and white pants, a Cartier wristwatch to complement it, and his hair kind of tousled. He watched her with a careful gaze. She snapped out of admiring how awesome he looked to the possibility of him getting something from his conversation. How long has he been there? She didn't dare ask.
